Dr. Lori D Adcock

My mother was what's called a brittle diabetic, and had difficulty keeping her blood sugar under control. When Dr. Adcock was given control of managing my mother's blood sugar, they fought. NOBODY had been able to manage my mother's blood sugar and during her stays in the hospital, her blood sugar was kept in the 3-500 number range, until I brought her insulin and syringes to her, so she could give herself the additional insulin necessary, to bring it down into a somewhat normal range. She expected Lori to be like the others, and fought her, tooth and nail, when it came to managing her glucose levels. Mom finally said 'ok, do what you want to do and we'll just see what happens!' , fully expecting her sugar levels to skyrocket, but instead, she normalized. I can't imagine WHY her star rating is below a 5 star rating, unless it's simply because she's as hard headed as my mother was! She's the ULTIMATE, PREMIER, endocrinologist, in America, in my opinion. I'm sure there's others as good,… but I seriously doubt there's any better than she! IF you're blood sugar levels are difficult to manage, I'd most definitely recommend Dr. Lori Adcock, if you're wanting to get your blood sugar under control, and keep it that way! (But, I wouldn't recommend arguing with her! She DOES know what she's doing!)

I arrived at 8:10 for a 8:30 appointment and at 9:30 I still had not been seen. The receptionist was too busy on the phone to discuss and they started taking the patients back that had 9:30 appointments before me. Will not go back

Dr. Adcock is wonderful. She always makes me feel comfortable and is very knowledgeable about different problems I have.
