Dr. Sayeeda Bilkis, MD

Dr. Bilkis has a unique style but for me personally she was exactly what I needed. I needed to hear what she had to say and how she said it. She really saved my life and educated me on my diabetes. She listened to my concerns and address all of them. To me she was absolutely wonderful her style might not be for everyone but for me she was exactly what i needed and I am so grateful for her.

After three incidents of not refilling my prescription within two years, it was time to change provider.

Horrible in refilling prescriptions.

First visit with doctor her bedside manner was horrible and she immediately started telling us things she was going to take away like insulin pump I don’t think so. We got up and walked out.

Dr Bilkis is a rare gem that I feel so incredibly fortunate to have discovered- and I found her through recommendations! Dr Bilkis is a genius. Pure and simple. With a heart of gold. And the experience, wisdom and knowledge of a doctor well beyond her years. She may cut you off while talking and be short, but this woman knows her stuff!!! Not only is she an Endocrinologist, but she is also board certified in Internal Medicine. And even though I'm not quite cured yet, I am fully confident that Dr Bilkis will continue to help me create a health plan that fits my particular needs and gets me back on the road towards living a happy healthy life! Did not want to hear my concerns and began talking over me dismissing everything I was trying to say.

I went to see her for hypothyroid. She is so nasty in her talk,attitude and everything. Somebody has to check and see if she’s qualified to practice. She needs some treatment.

I went to see Dr. Bilkis because I was referred to an endocrinologist for an elevated TSH. The medical assistant was amazing, but when it came to see the doctor my visit was a nightmare. Instead of focusing on the reason why I was there, I was questioned on why I didn't go see an endocrinologist where I worked or why did I not go see a primary care physician. She then proceeded to ask me questions on different symptoms and as I responded she had comments such as "You know that has nothing to do with a hypothyroid?". At this point I was in shock, what was I suppose to do... only answer yes to questions that had to do with thyroid issues. Another thing that made me absolutely angry was that she was more focused on her phone than me. I found it very rude that every few minutes she would stop to look at her messages. It made me feel like what I was there for was not important. At the end of the visit she sent me for labs to check my thryroid function, but not before making me feel… like it was all in my head. She asked for me to follow up in a week and made it a point to say what day worked better for her even though she had appointments available all week. I work in the health care field and have never seen such bad service. If I didn't have to go back to get my results, I would never go back.

Daughter went in for a yearly & as with all doctors who do this procedure you then get your RX for birth control NOT this doctor, she refused to write Rx stating "I'm not an OB/GYN" then why in the heck is she performing this exam!!! Now we are out the money and no Rx!!

I got an appt. immediately. Being I was in severe pain from a Migraine Headache! I showed her my sample of migraine medicine, Maxalt-MLT, and that it was not working. Cluster Migraines were causing me great pain! I showed her that I take Loricet for the pain. She was completely unsympathetic, tried to give me Immitrex, and said, "You can't MAKE me write a prescription!" Duh, no one can, I thought. Summary: I called ahead, was assured proper treatment, and it was a complete was of time that caused me more pain and aggravation! I did not take the prescription, and asked for my medical records back, and they refused! This is an unsympathetic doctor! Do not go to her if you are in any kind of pain! She causes more pain than cures.
