Dr. Lori Ann Claypool, DO

Dr. Claypool did not show any regard for any of my concerns. She came in, looked at me (no exam), and decided that she wasn’t going to do anything for me. She took her notes on a paper towel. She was very cold and unprofessional.

Went here for my first ob appointment got a urine analysis and was never called with results. When I looked online at my portal seen many “abnormal” things which indicated a UTI. today I called them with concerns because I was feeling the effects of the UTI. I was told my results were normal and I didn’t have a uti. That I had inflammation from not drinking enough water. Um no. I called my local clinic and they fit me right in and confirmed I do in fact have a uti and was put on antibiotics. Being 7 weeks pregnant and failing to diagnose and treat me. I will be pulling my care from this HORRIBLE place. Complete negligence!!

Dr. Claypool is not even my Doctor but I was getting ready to have surgery in the next few days. I went in for my pre op appt and was extremely nervous as this was my 1st surgery ever! Dr. Claypool heard me in the hallway talking to the nurses & other staff & came out to introduce herself letting me know she would be assisting my Doc with my upcoming surgery. I really felt that was awesome of her to have taken the time to come out & introduce herself to me. She spoke to me alittle about my surgery and it really helped calm my nerves. I really feel I'm in great hands! Thank you for being you Dr. Claypool!

if your looking for a Doctor who actually cares a doctor who listens to you who hears you out, she's NOT the one. she has no bed side manors she's such in a hurry to get out of the room spent more time with the nurse. I tell her I'm in pain and all she does is writes me a prescription.

WAS a patient of LORI CLAYPOOL OB/GYN for my first pregnancy. Only ever saw her for two minutes every appointment, her nurses were better to me and more informative than she EVER was. I had an infection they gave me medication for, they never checked up on it after prescribing me this; 3 weeks before my due date my water broke, I started having HORRIBLE pains, not just contractions, went to their ER, after a horrible experience there I was advised by Claypool to just "walk around." No one cared at all that I was in an inappropriate amount of pain. I went to UnityPoint Trinity in Moline after this where I ended up having my son and found out the infection they were supposed to have treated had spread all the way to my placenta, they couldn't find a heartbeat in my son, and it was a miracle he even survived. He spent two weeks in the NICU. This OB/GYN will not ask you any extra questions. She will not make sure you feel comfortable. She will try to get out of the room with you ASAP.… And she will make uncomfortable comments like suggesting I move cross country in with my mom since I am going through depression. Just get a different OB. Have a pleasant pregnancy and a doctor who actually cares.

I went for a routine pap smear and I did not get a chance to ask questions. I felt like I was being rushed and she talked over me and she did not seem to have time to listen to my concerns. I will not come back to her.

Always professional. Very candid. Answered all my questions until I was satisfied with my knowledge level. I am very comfortable with her as my doc.
