Sadly there seems to be weird reviews on this doctor. I have seen her for my thyroid issues and she is top notch! She found extra time in her schedule to give me a very thorough exam, ultrasound, lab tests and visit back in the room to go over everything. My thyroid was pretty complicated, and I was so very assured about my medical needs being met with Dr. Gerard. She is quite busy, and it takes a bit to get onto her schedule, but I'm convinced she is the best. Highly recommend Dr. Gerard for endochrinology.

Dr Gerard needs to relearn Robbins on basic pathologic principles of metastatic thyroid cancer. She also needs a lesson on collaboration with other physicians because she specifically asked for a fight. Who does that? This is patient care not a schoolyard bully!

Dr Gerard claims she knows a lot about thyroid cancer, but it’s very clear that she does not. She doesn’t understand metastatic thyroid cancer, how to diagnose it, it’s morphology, immunostains used, proper interpretation of stains, prognostic information and therapy. She clearly needs to revisit medical school and reread Robbins because it’s quite clear she’s forgotten basic principles. She needs a lesson in how to collaborate with other physicians and how to properly diagnose metastatic lesions.

Dr. Gerard is wonderful. She always takes time to listen to you and her knowledge is what every doc should aspire to. I have seen Dr. Gerard for many years for my Type 1 diabetes and have always had the best of care. The staff is also wonderful and knowledgable. Would highly recommend Dr. Gerard and her staff :)

It took some time to get an appointment but well worth it. Dr Gerard has excellent bedside manner, is a good listener, and very thoughtful. Office staff is superb. She quickly diagnosed my thyroid issue and I feel confident I'm on the right path for treatment.

I feel very confident and comfortabe with Dr. Gerard. She spends all the time you need (which could cause delays for you--but if you are waiting, you know she is taking the time with another patient that you would want her to spend with you. Wholeheartedly recommend her!
