Dr. Lori G. Polacek, MD

As a plastic surgeon, I wanted to find a team that I could trust for non-invasive procedures that I didn’t offer in my office. I chose Dr. Polacek as I have known her for years and for her stellar reputation. I was treated very well by her front office team. I also dealt with her office manager, Andrea Desimone, who was superb. My time with Dr. Polacek was terrific just as I had expected. We arrived at a treatment plan that was just right for me. It was pain free and I am already seeing very nice results.

Like any patient, I knew how important it was in choosing the right doctor for my surgery. I had met with five different doctors, but it wasnâ??t until my consultation with Dr. Polacek that I instantly knew my search was over. She made me feel at ease with the time she spent to thoroughly explain everything as well as her impeccable bedside manner. Dr. Polacek and her staff went above and beyond to ensure a smooth surgery and recovery with follow up phone calls and regular post surgery appointments. They were always available for any questions or concerns that may have come up. I highly recommend Dr. Polacek and her staff to anyone who is looking for an optimal experience with the most caring professionals.

I have had two surgeries with Dr. P, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. She is honest, caring, knowledgable, punctual, and just plain outstanding. She treats you as though you are her only patient- 100% attention for you and your needs. Her staff is wonderful and they treat you like family as well. My experiences with her are just amazing. I am very happy with all my services that I have received from her. I would recommend her and her practice to anyone who is looking for a wonderful experience in plastic surgery or any other cosmetic procedure.

Not a great doctor. Very self-absorbed. Missed many impt major medical observations listed. Seemed distracted and tired. Very unhappy with results.

I read about it in fashion magazines and heard about it on Kathie Lee and Hoda, so off I went to Dr. Polacek's posh new offices to get the scoop on "Fraxel", a laser that actually works to rebuild the layers of colagen beneath your skin for months after you have the procedure. I decided to try it. It took 40 minutes for the esthetician to carefully place the laser across my rather wrinkled face. While it did sting, I kept myself focused on the outcome. After 5 days of redness and swelling there it was... a smoother, fresher version of the old me. I combined the Fraxel with Botox,,Juvederem and Vivite skin products. The results, though subtle, were sensational! While the Fraxel continues to work its magic months after my fourth procedure,(yes four!) the compliments keep coming. I truly can't believe the difference in my skin & my overall appearance and I plan to keep up this magical regimen! Many thanks to Dr Polacek and her fabulous team for their extensive knowledge & expertise !

I had breast augmentation surgery with silicone implants under the muscle in 2012 . Within a few months after my surgery, I noticed a lot of pain and firmness in one of my breasts. During a follow-up appointment, despite my pointing out the problem, Dr. Polacek said that everything was fine. By the time I had my next appointment, my pain continued and the firmness only got worse and my right breast was now visibly higher than my left breast. Dr. Polacek offered to give me follow-up surgery to scrap the scar tissue off at what I believe is a reduced rate, but I have lost confidence and will eventually seek treatment elsewhere. Dr. Polacek seems to be a nice person who cares about her patients and the staff is certainly high quality, however, I feel that my surgery was botched. I could be wrong and maybe I just happened to fall in that 3 to 5 percent (or whatever low percentage that it is) whose body doesn't take well to implants, but I feel that if my encapsulation was caught… earlier when I first started to get pain then maybe some of the problems could have been prevented.

I was struggling for months with a ruptured saline breast implant, and trying to find a doctor who would not only see me for the consultation, but wouldn't have me waiting for months for a surgery date. After several calls to the several physicians, I managed to get in for 2 consultations, Dr. Polacek being the second one. I did have 2 other consults scheduled, however cancelled them after meeting with her and her wonderful office manager! She answered my questions, worked with my sense of urgency, and spent a great deal of time helping me to make a decision on what would be best for the corrective surgery. I suffered from a great deal of breast tissue loss due to nursing 4 children. We decided on a silicone implant and a mastopexy. My rupture timing also came around everyone's planned Spring vacations, so as much as I wanted them fixed immediately, Dr. Polacek respectfully asked that I wait till she knew she would be in town in case there was an issue. Obviously, an… appropriate and responsible decision as a surgeon. My one only concern was why she chose Fatima Hospital as her surgical site (just seemed out of the ordinary from other surgeons), but non the less we scheduled surgery. Dr. Polacek's initial consultation was so welcoming. Her personality and care for her trade was at the heart of our conversation. Because we were pressed for time, we bypassed a pre-op appointment, but rather had 2 detailed phone conversations. One prior to her getting my previous surgical reports and one after. These conversations were comforting and really allowed me to see that I had made an excellent decision in choosing Dr. Polacek! Upon my arrival at the hospital, I was greeted by what is known as "her team". From the nurse anesthetist, to the surgical nurse, and the post-op nurse and charge nurse...they are a team at their best! Each respects and appreciates the next. I felt comfortable in saying I needed a little more time prior to leaving due to needing some additional pain medication. Dr. Polacek checked on my blood pressure and would not release me till it was at her acceptable level to avoid complications. Because she utilizes a hospital versus an outpatient surgical center, you never simply "get kicked out" for lack of a better concept. I could not have asked for a better experience at Fatima...superb care! My family received a call letting them know how I was doing, and Dr. Polacek called to check on me later that evening. She scheduled a convenient time to see me the following day. Her professionalism and level of care are unsurpassed! I absolutely adore her, her staff, and will gladly recommend her time and time again!

I consulted with several surgeons for abdominoplasty and found Dr Polacek to be the most thorough and informative during the first visit. Her staff was energetic, courteous and professional. I made my decision that same day to have my surgery with Lori. The experience was excellent and the results are more than I could have hoped for. She is a fantastic surgeon with a comforting demeanor. Her attention to detail, and her commitment to the patient is evident. I always felt unique and cared-for by Lori and her staff.

My entire experience with Dr. Lori Polacek and her staff was outstanding. Dr. Polacek performed breast augmentation for me. I spent a while researching doctors and found her to be knowledgable, professional and personable. The reults of my surgery were flawless. I couldn't be happier!
