Dr. Lori Michelle Smith

I sent my mother in for issues for her right leg. we thought she may have a blood clot. Dr Smith ordered an ultrascan..It came back negative. then we found out she ordered an ultrascan on her left leg and we had to wait another hour to get the person in again. 8 hours in the ER.

came in for stomach issues. ordered a ct of my chest. nothing for my pain. I spent 8 hours before she sent me to get a ct of my stomach.

When I moved too this area I honestly have to say I was afraid to look for a new family Dr. I still cant believe I was able to find such a wonderful Dr. Not only does Dr. Smith actually listen to you she is not aftaid to admit she is human just like the rest of us. She has a wonderful out look and is more then willing to help her patients find answers to thier concerns. I was very sudden to have learned that she is no longer with Summitview Family Med. I hope to be able to find where she goes so I can continue to have her as my family Dr. Anyone who has her as their Dr. should feel blessed as the Dr. today just dont seem to give a you know what about their patients and that is so sad to see especially when we are the ones who pay their pay-checks.....
