I think the service was great, however I was shocked that I had to pay an additional $45.00 to get a prescription for new glasses. Wow, what a scam that is

I would go to no other Dr. Dr. Schlecht is a wonderful Dr. I only wish the front staff had his personality. There needs to be a change made up there. I think they have become to comfortable.

Dr. Schlecht is a very personable doctor as well as one who explains the whys and hows of your situation. I had a cataract that I knew needed removal and he was good about explaining the procedure, etc. (He also commented about my shoes - how often does THAT happen!! lol) His staff in the Fond du Lac office were awesome! I'd recommend him without hesitation!

If there were a way to add a higher score for Dr. Schlecht, I would do it! How Aurora lucked out to get him is their gain, because he is the BEST!!!! He is knowledgeable, caring, willing to spend the time to help me understand, personable and overall phenomenal! He actually called me a few days later with followup information that he wanted me to persue and advised me how to go about it to get the best results! His nurse didn't call me, he did!!! This doctor is the 'real deal' and if you are looking for the best of the best for your eyes, go pay him a visit!
