Dr. Lorraine Alexis Charles

Dr.Lorraine is an excellent doctor. She's very attentive and caring when it comes to her patient's needs.

Dr. Lorraine Charles is a wonderful physician and human being! She is generous with her knowledge, and also with her care. The staff in her office was very helpful and knowledgeable as well. I'm so grateful to have found her! If you are looking for a thorough PCP, five stars!!!

Dr. Lorraine Charles is a best doctor

I was scheduled with Dr. Charles because my regular doctor was on maternity leave. I was hesitant to use an unfamiliar physician, but had no choice. When I first arrived, I was not impressed with the front desk staff. They were not rude, but just not "sharp and professional." This concerned me that the doctor would follow suit. HOWEVER, this was not the case. She was so articulate, knowledgeable, attentive and professional. Dr. Charles was very thorough and concerned about all aspects of my health. She did not rush, and was so easy to talk to about my problems. She listened and respected what I said. I have decided to make her my primary physician, providing the front office staff was not deteriorate. You can only make one first impression, and Dr. Charles shined. Unfortunately, not so much the front office staff.

Dr. Charles is great but staff has been incredibly rude in the few visits I've had there.

She's in a back enclosed waiting room, for 3 visits over 5 months, each visit, at least 30 minutes behind...funny thing, I'm the only one in the waiting room. Then as if scheduled, a few employees for the hospital wander in for coffee and social hour and are soon joined by Dr. Charles nurse. I'm still waiting...I used their portal and requested a refill, radio silence, called and left a message, still nothing. How many people have they run off with this unprofessional behavior and the complicit practice management staff. When you wait 30 minutes for a 20 minute visit that actually is about 10, so yeah, avoid.

First, the wait time in the lobby was less than 5 minutes, and the wait in the exam room was short. Dr. Charles's nurse/assistant Kesha was very thorough when she asked about my health history. Dr, Charles took her time and asked questions. Even though this was a new patient visit, she listened to my chest and looked at my legs when I mentioned that they get swollen. She also checked my kidney function because she was concerned that a couple of my meds together can affect the kidneys. She is very friendly and personable, but more importantly she seems to know what she is doing from a medical standpoint.
