Dr. Lorraine Maita, MD

Dr. Maita and her team have changed my life. Since I started her Thrive Program I have completely eliminated all autoimmune symptoms mostly associated with diet and lack of proper nutritional supplements. I always felt that my knowledge of nutrition was extensive, but I now know that I had a lot to learn. I can’t say enough for her knowledge and functional medicine expertise. It is not easy to find a doctor who will actually take the time to address the cause of a person’s issues rather than just treating the symptoms with a pharmaceutical drug. If you want to recapture your good health and vibrancy, Dr. Maita is the doctor for you.

Care here is substandard to an EXTREME. Not only was she not able to replicate good results from a prior doctor (who moved from the area), but her treatment caused HARM which appears to be permanent, although she insisted quite at length that any negative effects would be temporary. She has an open complaint with the Better Business Bureau. When questioned regarding what medical board certification she has to prescribe certain treatments, she failed to respond. Additional investigation is ongoing. Definitely AVOID this doctor.

I found Dr. Maita to be very knowledgeable and courteous. It was easy to get an appointment and the thoroughness in which approached my visit with her was notable. As a healthcare provider myself, I appreciated her approach to my complicated case. Her bedside manner was excellent and Kathleen, her staff member, was awesome. It took 2 short months of treatment and I felt remarkably better. She has changed my life and she was worth every penny and then some! In today's healthcare system, rarely can patients say they had a fantastic visit with a provider and left with all their questions answered and then some. I can and I strongly recommend Dr. Maita!

I am a 45 year old mother of 4 young children and a business owner. Needless to say, my life is extremely busy and at times quite stressful. ok staff but doctor with unacceptable bedside manners,

I am truly delighted and grateful to have Dr. Maita as my primary "go to" health care advisor. I trust her with my life....both literally and figuratively! Being 71 years old when I had my first consultation with Dr. Maita a year ago, I had simply attributed my chronic muscular and joint pain to the natural aging process, and to the aftermath of various military and sports injuries I'd incurred through the years. I was impressed by the generous amount of time she had allotted for me, the intelligent questions she asked, and her patience in listening not only to me, but also to my wife whom she welcomed to join my consultation. She then prescribed some comprehensive but very focused and cost-effective lab work to aid in her initial diagnostics. When the results came back she completed her diagnoses and designed a personalized treatment plan which included male hormone replacement therapy, treatment of hypothyroidism, and a tailored vitamin- supplement regimen (as well as dietary… and physical fitness recommendations). Within 2 months of following her plan, I was totally pain free for the first time in nearly 10 years; my alertness, focus and stamina had markedly improved, and---according to my wife---I was noticeably less irritable and more playful than ever. One year later I remain pain free, and I have the energy, focus and attentiveness of when I was 20 years younger. After seeing 3 doctors and getting no where but antidepressant prescriptions, I found Dr. Maita. She was very focused on my specific needs and listened to my concerns without judgement.
