Dr. Lorri Jo Dobbins, DO

I was referred to Dr. Dobbins and waited an hour my first appointment. Staff wasn’t friendly or very professional, but Doctor was great. Went back for post op and had a horrible experience. I witnessed the nurse tell patients checking in the front office and insurance had not been handled properly. It was a red flag, but I stayed. I was given a release to sign that had been photo copied so many times it could barely be read. Again, a CFR is available online, not a lot of care for the patient being demonstrated here, still I stayed. An hour and a half in I was shown to an exam room. My appt was at 3:30. I left at 6:10 and never saw the doctor. I left after the nurse told me I needed to be patient for my post op because the doctors staff had walked out on her a few days before. This was my pre-op appointment! My surgery was two business days away, I had already taken off work, very demanding job, so this is hard to do, rearranged my family so I would be cared for. So, I didn’t make this… decision lightly. I called the office and left a message for the doctor thinking she may not be aware of what happened- she never returned my call. She obviously didn’t really care about me all along.

I’ve seen a lot of gynecologists due to my pcos. A lot of doctors do not have any knowledge when it comes to this! Dr. Dobbins gave me a better understanding of pcos and helped reassure me that it isn’t the end! I went 7 years without a cycle and she helped start that back, and I had a series of blood work to let me know my hormonal levels and where they stand. I am now regular monthly, due to her help and am trying to conceive on my own! Her nurse practitioner has also helped me a lot! I recommend her to any and every woman who is looking!

I have been with doctor Dobbins for right at 15 years. She has been my female doctor and delivered all 3 of my children. I have recommended her to many people and all of my family sees her as well. She is attentive and thorough. I can't imagine putting my care in someone else's hands. You may have to wait a little for your appointment as she does not rush through to get you in and out but it is well worth the wait.

I have been going to Dr Dobbins office for 3 years now. I had an awful pregnancy a few years before and because of this No other doctor would even consider tying my tubes and ablation but Dr. Dobbins did. She listened and understand that I was truly in agonizing pain and had been for quite some time. She doesn't equate age as a reason to not treat your issues and she isn't afraid to do what needs to be done! Her office staff is always very friendly, on a few occasions I have had to wait for her to deliver a baby, but she gave me the gift of being pain free, so its okay! They readily accept my phones calls and help me to get medication correct. She never gets upset or frustrated with my questions (and I ask a TON). She asks and remembers with great detail your history and life in general. Overall, she is amazing!

Most amazing doctor who takes her time and never rushes me when I had many questions. Recently had a hysterectomy and she explained everything in detail and I felt at ease. I would highly recommend her.

Although wait time is extremely long I really like Dr. Dobbins. If I could rate the staff I would give zero stars. They have no idea what they are doing nor do they care. I had to drop off some paperwork that needed completed by a certain date. The entire time I was explaining what I needed the lady behind the counter never once looked up to acknowlege me, she just nodded her head and said ok, ok, ok.....They need to get some people who care about what they are doing, the rest will come if they care.

Horrible experience, terrible communication! Office staff are horrible! Doctor runs at least 1.5 to 2 hours behind EVERY TIME. She showed up late for my surgery!! Her office dropped me as a patient because the month of my delivery was estimated for a month she was "too busy with scheduled deliveries".....this was after being an established patient for over a year with Dr Dobbins with a recent history of miscarriage! So I became pregnant for the second time and tried to get scheduled to come in and her office said, "Dr Dobbins is too busy with scheduled deliveries in your estimated due date so you'll need to find a new OBGYN". WORST OFFICE EVER! I would NEVER recommend anyone go to this office, just absolutely horrible all around!

The doctor herself is wonderful and caring, her staff however is neglectful at best. The worst of them all is her beloved office manager who she protects and defends to her many unhappy patients. For me, the manager was yelling at me for needing a surgical procedure mid pregnancy, as if it were my fault my gallbladder was failig to do its job. She continued to harrass me theough the next trimester and into my third when I finally could not take any unnecessary stress with my already very difficult pregnancy. Dobbins does not seem to care that this woman is so awful to her patients as I spoke with her on multiple occasions about her manipulative staff member and she took zero responsibility for allowing this woman yo treat her patients with such poor manner. I feel that despite all the great things Dobbins provides, her staff makes seeing her not worth the time, money, or stress.

Dr. Dobbins and.her Nurse Practitioner are both awesome. Yes, you may have to wait a long time at your appointment but to me it worth it to get great medical care. I drive 1.5 hours to see them and so does my family!! Dr. Dobbins Rocks!!

How amazing! I have soent years trying to find a doctor to help me and my female issues and Dr. Dobbins has answered ny prayers! I love that she is a Godly women, who listens to her patients! The staff is amazing and the NP is halirious!!
