Dr. Amorosa is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in spine surgery and operative fracture care. He completed medical school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine where he was awarded AOA, followed by an orthopaedic surgery residency at Columbia University Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital where he was a chief resident and was awarded the Harrison McLaughlin award for excellence in orthopaedic trauma …care. He then completed a fellowship in orthopaedic trauma at the Hospital for Special Surgery/Cornell University Medical Center. Following this, he completed a combined orthopaedic and neurosurgical spine surgery fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals and the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute.
