Dr. Louis J Bresnick, MD

Dr Bresnick is the most kind, caring & patient doctor that I have ever had to deal with. He takes the time to explain everything to you and will listen to your concerns about what he is saying he wants you to do. He is the best.

I've been a patient of his for about 20 years and find him to be a fine Doctor, very caring, never rushes out, listens to all you have to say. Good bedside manor

My overall rating for the doctor himself is 4 stars. Overall rating to include the office staff drops it to 2 stars. The office staff is less than helpful or courteous. I am left standing at the window upon entering the office without any acknowledgment for a full minute or two, to then have the glass slid back and be told without looking up, in a bothersome manner, that they "will be with me in a minute." The staff are frequently rude and act like they are doing you a favor to check you in and make your follow up appointments. The wait time needs to be improved. They are always running behind schedule unless you are the first appointment of the day...and not 5-10 minutes. Usually have a 10-15 min wait in the office waiting room, and then another 15 minute internally....VERY FRUSTRATING. This is not a one time observation...I have been coming here for over 5 years, it is for the most part the same every visit. On the other hand, Dr Bresnick is wonderful. Takes time with me, is… knowledgeable, explains alternatives, is never condescending to you, never judgmental, gives you choices, and I never feel rushed. He allows you to participate in your plan of care. Always pleasant and cheerful. He is an excellent doctor. I overlook all the office issues because he is so good. I would recommend him to anyone. The nursing staff is also always pleasant and helpful. However, I would recommend lessons in courtesy and pleasantry for the office staff. These are areas in which they are sorely lacking.

Very pleased with his knowledge and professionalism, and takes times to listen. The office can be hard to deal with at times, with phones not answered, leaving messages/coordinating call backs and that type of interaction. Front desk does is not very friendly--they are doing you a favor to check you in.

Love Dr. Bresnick. Thorough and courteous. Staff on the other hand need much improvement. Make you feel like they are doing you a favor when in the end... We are the customer. They need to take a little initiative.

Dr. bresnick is a great Doctor!! But his office staff for the most part are some of the worst people I have encountered at a Dr's office. It seems they are more rude than nice & couldn't take your blood pressure to "Save your life" every time I have on of the Medical-Asst take my blood pressure it's "high" when I ask Dr. bresnick to take it 5-10 minutes after the ASSt took it it's fine. If it wasn't for Dr. Bresnick himself being a great guy I would have left the practice!!!

I feel rushed lately when I have appts with Dr. Bresnick. I don't seem to get a chance to tell everything before he's trying to move me along. I know he's busy but that's the only negative I have to say about him. Other than that, I think he's a great doctor.

Dr. Bresnick is a great doctor. He has a great bedside manner and I really like the idea of after having an exam, you go to his office and sit and he tells you what he thinks the issue is and goes over a plan of attack. The only thing I can say negatively about Dr Bresnick is that I think he sometimes rushes through. I know the office is extremely busy and you can feel that from him at times. I think he could do a little better job of hiding that or cutting back on some of the appointments per day. Also, the office staff and specifically one of the nurses can be sometimes downright rude at times. They need to take after all (3) of the doctors at the office (all of whom I've had appointments with) and learn to smile more and be more courteous. The staff really lacks people skills at times.
