Dr. Louis Gringeri, DO

Avoid this place! I interned there a few years ago, dr gringeri is 2 faced he is nice to patients face when they leave he makes rude comments about them. He specifically tells you if it’s a medicad patient to take a message and not schedule them for appointment and he will call out something unless he feels it’s emergency he says it’s not worth it to give them appointment the state does not pay him enough. He is extremely rude to his staff! Honestly he acts like a 2 year old having a temper tantrum !

I wasn't going to review this doctor as his behavior with me was a little nutty but when I read one other bad review about how he refused to treat a new patient with no explanation provided to the patient and the good review accusing another giving a bad review as being an addict, I had to post. Look around and you should see not only bad but bizarre reviews about Dr. Gringeri of Newtown, PA. I went to him because I needed a new doctor. I have a few medical issues, including hypertension. When he saw my reading in the office for my blood pressure, he rested his head in his hand as he leaned on the table/desk, with an alarmed, worried look on his face and said "We have to get this down." I have had health anxiety and "white coat" hypertension from a young age and the last thing I need is someone who acts alarmed, yet doesn't take any action on it. If my BP was that high, he would have or at least should have sent me for emergency care. He simply prescribed medication. And No I'm… not an addict, but in fact a serious life extensionsist who takes prescribed meds when needed but prefer natural ways to prevent health problems. I'm still alive at 66, approx. 20 years after my visit to Dr. Gringeri. If you want a bizarre doctor, definitely try this one.

You should be ashamed of yourself for the passive aggressive way you handled letting me know that I was no longer a patient of yours. You have placed me in medical harm holding out filling a prescription for cholesterol medicine because I was behind on getting bloodwork done and then to top it all off by refusing to give me a script for the bloodwork after I had the appointment scheduled . I now have to find a new physician and then get a script for bloodwork from them and then reschedule the bloodwork putting me even further behind in getting the bloodwork done that you were so persistent in wanting me to get done. You are the most unprofessional doctor that I have ever been associated with. I only hope I can find another physician that will treat me with respect and do the right thing.

I have known Dr. Gringeri since the 1990's - both my daughter and I have been highly satisfied with his medical expertise, caring approach, and amazing problem solving skills. He has assisted me in solving multiple medical problems through a very organized and systematic approach. He is incredibly intelligent, always staying current and informed. When he feels you need a specialist he recommends one. I have such respect for his competence and appreciation for his caring, supportive approach. At the desk is the most amazing receptionist - Doris! She's smart, kind, and incredibly efficient. The medical assistants are kind, caring, and efficient. I highly recommend Dr. Gringeri as a family physician for all members of your family.

Dr. is practical snd conscientious

Bad experience, I was looking for a family dr and found his info in my insurance page, on my appointment day I waited more than 1 hr, then Dr Gringeri wasn't in the office instead I was being seen by a nurse (nothing against them) and she was talking by the phone to Dr Gringeri asking lots of basic stuff, I was there to continue a prophylactic treatment that started a health center dr, but she didn't know about it, so I had to look for a real doctor. Don't waste your time in this office.

Doctor refused to give me a standard pre op physical for a minor procedure. I am in good health and have been a patient for 30 years. He must be concerned about his liability and insurance. UNBELIEVABLE!

Have been a patient with this practice for over 20 years! Dr. Gingeri is one of the best diagnosticians I know. Highly recommend!
