Dr Kim is terrific; however, his assistant, Kendra, whom you have to go through to schedule an appointment, find out results or get information from is absolutely awful. Dr Kim has been my neurosurgeon for over two years, have has performed multiple surgeries and angiograms. Thank you for doing an excellent job. Sadly, I have to change neurosurgeons because of his assistant Kendra. I have had a call into her for over two weeks with no response. This happens EVERY time I call her. In the past, I was able to get around the issue because my sister worked at Harborview and went directly to their office and demanded someone return my call. For any of you that need a neurosurgeon, we know that you will be full of anxiety and fear. Sadly, Kendra will magnify those issues. I am baffled as to why she is still there. It is essential in any medical situation that you feel not only your surgeon/Dr. is competent but that the entire team is qualified. Kenda alone has ruined it for Dr Kim and his… team. My decision to change neurosurgeons is based on several years of being treated disrespectfully by Kenda and Dr Kim continuing to have her on his team.

Me and my family flew from Alaska to Seattle, because we were told Dr. L. Kim is one of the best Neurosurgeons a person can find. I had two Aneurisms and was very worried and scared, but Dr. Kim and his crew were amazing! He was very kind, caring and professional. I have had one Aneurism clipped about six weeks ago and I’m doing well. Dr. Kim is coiling my second Aneurism soon. All I can say is, thank you for saving my life Dr. Kim. My husband, children and grandchildren also thank you. You are truly a person who makes a difference in this world. God Bless You! Tana Minkler

Wow. What a great dr and man. From the first time meeting him (on the phone) he was great in informing me what each step would be all the way through including the surgery. Very professional, very personal made me feel like a person not just a medical number. Today that is a rare find. I can not find enough words to thank him for saving my life and making me feel comfortable while doing it. I would NOT hesitate in recommending Dr Kim to anyone in need of a neuro surgeon.

VERY IMPRESSED by Dr Kim and his staff. Left his offices having ALL our questions answered completely and thoroughly. Dr Kim and his staff were thorough, patient, and easy to understand. Felt well cared for and totally at ease for future endeavors with this doc and his staff.
