Dr. Louis Charles Redix, MD

I went to him for severe pain in my elbow and whole arm. I could hardly use my hand and whole arm at all! He said i might have sprained it. He didn't do any x-rays. He said to come back in 2 weeks if its not better. Well, its not better. Im in agony. I had an appointment for him to check out my arm again, but...they said they had to cancel due to a power outage in the area. I called them back numerous times to reschedule and they never call back!! You just get a voicemail (and during their business hours). So i am going to have to find another doctor. Also, he never gave me an arm-sling (the slings are not good at your local pharmacies). I thought he would at least give me a brace or sling to help with my pain and help with not moving my arm. Also, he billed me for a copay and my insurance is good and i have no copay!

After surgery... still in pain. With no solution, lack of bedside manners and no better outcome.

Dr Redix performed knee surgery on my father. It's been months since the surgery and my father is still in pain. Completely agree with the Dr not being personable as I saw it for myself. He is not very informative and that is why I had to accompany my father to his appointments so that I could ask questions. I understand no surgery is guaranteed but you don't tell your patient(s) that they continue to have pain because "they are old". Not to mention every appointment is over annhour wait in the lobby!!! Unprofessional to say the least!

I was an inmate in federal prison, and redix performed a surgical procedure that is no longer an acceptable procedure. Once the surgical pin began to migrate out of my shoulder (eventually penetrated my shoulder) he refused to see me or prescribe me pain medication for more than three and half weeks. The surgical procedure has now left shoulder completely disabled, and a complete shoulder replacement is now required.

Loved this Dr.!!!! He will also be doing my wife's rotator cuff !

He is a great physician !!!

Dr never examined my injury... Talked down to me.... I cried in parking lot after seeing this dr after the way I was treated. .... He spent less than 5 mins with my broken arm and stated no cast needed... Upon second opinion by another dr I found I indeed needed a cast.
