Dr. Louis E Ridgway III, MD

My wife and I had a very difficult pregnancy with twins. At 13 weeks there was a rupture. At this point we were sent to see this office and saw Dr Ridgway. He said that there was no chance of survival and we should terminate the pregnancy and "start over". Despite still having heart beats. NO WAY!! Who makes that the only suggestion. We met with the OB and they said if we could make it to 24 weeks there could be a chance for medical assistance. The rupture healed and both continued to grow. We did make it to 24 weeks and they were actually born at 24w 1 day. We understand this is not ideal, but to be given the only recommendation to "terminate", is outrageous. We also understand that this was very high risk and odds were against us, but some compassion should be put into place and some common sense. Needless to say. Both are now home and they are growing, healthy twins. We are blessed to have good Doctors along the way. But I would never recommend Dr Ridgway to anyone. And if… there was a way to give a negative rating, I would. For the record all others in this office were outstanding!!!!!
