Dr. Louise Dysart Metz, MD

I have seen Dr. Metz for many years. Initially, my experience was wonderful—I found her to be attentive, compassionate, and thorough. In recent years, I’ve noticed a marked change in her follow up and accessibility. It is difficult to get an appointment with her, and when you do, she takes weeks to review lab work and does not follow up with promised referrals. She also seems distracted or rushed at times in appointments, which never used to be the case. I truly am sad to see her practice change, as she was an amazing doctor before this shift took place. Sadly, I can no longer recommend her as a clinician.

She is a great doctor who looks at the whole person

BEWARE!!!!!: she orders unnecessary tests and will not believe anything you say in your interview. she performed a pap smear without a nurse present and scratched my cervix so that I was left bleeding for days, in pain, and had to see another doctor for antibiotics. it's scary that doctors like her exist!!!! AVOID HER AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!

You might come in with a broken heart, but you'll leave with a healing results.

I would not recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Metz is the best primary physician that I have had looking after my health needs. She is extremely thorough and shows a level of compassion and understanding that is often lacking in the medical profession. Dr.Metz has overseen my care since moving to the Cary area in 2009. She has provided me the necessary guidance needed to see that my health is maintained at the highest possible level. She is an excellent internal specialist.
