Dr. Lourdes Teresa Santiago, MD

I am a current patient of Dr. Santiago, and she has performed several outpatient procedures on my behalf. She is an excellent surgeon. Top notch. Her bedside manner is very compassionate and kind. She listens intently and patiently to my medical concerns and she is conservative in her recommended treatments and procedures. I highly recommend her as a surgeon. I am very thankful that I was referred to her. Her staff is wonderful, kind, and responsive as well. They personally answer the telephone without delay and are attentive to my concerns and requests. I’ve read some of the reviews both positive and negative. In my experience she and her staff are very caring people. While in the wait room I have seen patients go in smiling and come out the same and yes there were a few with a better than anyone attitude. It makes me wonder why people treat doctors and staff negatively. No need. They are there to take care of you just don’t be rude to them. I TRUST this staff!

Dr. Santiago is the most compassionate Doctor she takes care of you like you are family. She did my colostomy and I could not have had better care. If you call she answers right away. If you have a problem she takes care of it and gives you courage to keep on keeping on. She made sure I was comfortable and without pain. She also helps many people in other ways if they are in need. She's the best.

Doctor and staff have a poor attitude. Doesnt spend time to answer questions. Has an I dont care about you attitude. Went to another surgeon and was treated by everyone much better.

I was referred to Dr. Santiago after seeing several doctors that were unable to correctly treat my issue. Dr. Santiago was so warm and information and was able to tell me what was going on with me. She performed a colonoscopy and ordered a blood test and MRI and then performed surgery to remove my abscess and fistula. She is helpful and professional. Her staff is helpful and her assistant is always willing to answer questions. I'm very thankful and feel blessed to have met Dr. Santiago and have her perform my surgery. It's been 3 weeks and I'm feeling better and healing. Praise the Lord!

Very competent and compassionate surgeon, that goes above the call of duty for her patients. Her office staff are very efficient, attentive to patients needs and extremely caring.

I know Dr. Santiago personally. Dr. Santiago took care of my son for a condition needing an expert on the field of medicine. excellent medical care was provided, in addition to following up after surgery. As a result of her medical skill and care my son is doing very well. Down fall is on her office staff, and their customer service skills, those need to improve.

Dr. Was an hour late for both appointments . Hour and a half late for colonoscopy. She is very kind and compassionate. Office staff leaves little to be desired.So if you don't mind waiting at every appointment she is a great Dr.

Dr. Was at least one hour late for every appointment. For surgery she was 4.5 hours late... and I was the first patient. No sense of time whatsoever!
