Dr. Lucas Alejandro Mikulic, MD

So patient - he listens and is not in a hurry. I feel like I really have a doctor now who is reliable and knowledgeable in his field.

When I visited Dr Mikulik the first time he was great. He was in communication with me and he was eager to help me quit smoking. I was only smoking 2 cigarettes a day . I understood that he wanted to help me but usually this is done with Chantix which is a psychotropic drug which I do not take.I do not take any psychotropic medication. I am already trying to quit on my own now to 2 cigarettes a day from 1 pack to 1/2 pack and now 2 . On my next visit I was very disappointed. I was mis -duplicated and some of the things he wrote in my report were not true.I called the nurse and I asked her to discuss the incorrect points with him. Today I received a letter from him discharging me as his patient. I am very disappointed. I worked in the medical field as a physical Therapist for 50 years and have been a patient at different times. I have never received a letter from a Physician dismissing me for non compliance.GM

Doctor is wonderful, great bedside manner! Nurses equally wonderful. However, I saw Dr. Mikulic for sleep apnea, he said he would schedule a sleep study. Couple of weeks later, 3 phone calls and an email, I still can't make an appointment for a sleep study. They told me the hold up might be my insurance company. Called insurance company, they said there was no request made for a sleep study. So off to find a new doctor.

Spends whatever time the the patient needs. Caring, pleasant, explains everything so that the patient understands. Willing to contact family members and explain to them. Works with the patient in making decisions .LISTENS to what patient has to say....every step of the way.

has insulted my intelligence..was good at one time... drs. need to stop reading other drs. notes...that is why people move on....drs. need to listen more. esp. with .. difficult patients.

This Doctor is wonderful. Best Doc I've ever had. He gives you the time you need, the attention you deserve and very good follow-up sometimes even at night.
