Dr Ribeiro is a very intelligent Dr, loves her patients , Brazil and the US and I respect her a lot. Hopefully she is the Same since 2015, since I last saw her. I do not speak Portuguese. Number 1

after ONE instance of "evaluating" me, which consisted solely of asking a bunch of standard psychoanalytical questions ("are you paranoid, on a scale of 1-10 how is your anxiety?), "Dr." Ribeiro put me on some heavy anti psychotics and antidepressants that got me close to seizures and landed me in the ER; ultimately I was placed in the psyche unit of the hospital due to the side effects I was experiencing from the anti psychotics that she prescribed me. That was her FIRST choice AFTER AN HOUR OF MEETING ME FOR THE FIRST TIME. No physical exam referrals, no discussion of getting a blood test done to see if i was possibly physically ill. The reason I went to her is because I had been dealing with severe anxiety and paranoia for 4 years+. Two days prior to my appointment with her I was rushed to the ER with a panic attack retaining a form of severity I never experienced before. Then, when she gave me the meds, like I stated above, I felt worse than I ever had in my… entire life due to her lovely psychiatric skills. She DID NOT FOLLOW UP on me after I got out of the hospital. It's like as if Ms. Ribeiro fell off the grid after she screwed me over. Do not be fooled by the UCLA and University of Chicago graduate titles. Do not be fooled by the lavish building on Michigan ave from which she practices, as it It will appear aesthetically in parallel with an crooked shack from some slum after she medicates you to the brim blindfolded.
