Dr. Lucie Lauve Temple

I have been seeing De. Lauve for Sleep Apnea for nearly 20 years. She is always professional and personal. She takes interest in me and my health. Even though I only see her every other year, she always remembers information about me that is not in my chart for her to read. Her diagnosis and treatment changed my health life to be the best possible!!!

She is extremely rude, dosent run the right tests and missed a very obvious case of multiple sclerosis. Patients deserve better than this quack.

By far one of the worst physicians I have ever encountered. Her lack of critical thinking skills and ability to think outside the box is astonishing. Also, she lacked any empathy or even basic bedside manner. I was so troubled by my experience with her, only to later find out many others were saying the same thing about her. Avoid at all costs. Truly horrible experience.

Dr. Lauve has been seeing my husband for close to ten years. She put him on sleeping pills in the beginning and just keeps upping the dosage. He is now on double what he started with. It has caused problems with his behavior. He sleeps all day when off work. He has no motivation. He wakes up multiple times during the night. He gets up in the middle of the night and eats. He never even remembers getting up. Sometimes he will even take a second one cause he don't remember taking the first one. He has all the characteristics of being on these pills way too long. On the prescription itself, it says for short term use only. I don't consider almost ten years short time. She has never tried anything else. She never tried gradually lowing the dose to see if he could possibly go without them now. After 35 years of a wonderful marriage with the last five going down hill faster and faster I'm about ready to leave him. He is completely addicted to these pills and they are ruining his life. He… promises to try to lower the dose and get off them but then I find him getting them on the sly and hiding them. I love my husband deeply but this man is not the husband I know and love. On Dr. Lauves website there is no way to get in touch with her. I would like to send her an email about the problem. I can't write her a letter, my husband would see it then his behavior would be completely unreasonable. He couldn't be more of an addict if he were using street drugs. Think twice before sending your spouse to a sleep specialist or at the least do in-depth research and make sure the doctor is not a patient pleaser. Maybe all the overly positive comments from her patients should have told me something. Now he gets sleep but he is going to have no one to sleep with.

I have ben a patient of Dr. Lauve for 2 years. By visits with her have been prompt (no waiting). She took time to talk to me in detail, gave me excellent advise and reassurance. Dr. Lauve is very personable, knowledgeable and I respect her professional opinions.

I am so glad I switched to Dr. Lauve. She takes time to listen to my concerns and is very knowledgeable in her field. She has made several good suggestions to help improve my quality of life and I am very thankful for her.

She's a great doctor but she doesn't spend much time with you. She does what she has to and is out the door. This is unfortunate because she's very knowledgeable.

I saw Dr. Lauve for first time yesterday after a several month wait time. It was well worth it! There is a good reason she has a long wait list...many people must love her. She spent more time with me than any other doctor has. She listened to me and gave me all the time to needed. She was very kind and understanding and, of course, knowledgeable. She was fully interested in my medical history. She gave me an idea of what she thinks my issue is, but is bringing me back quickly to do further tests to confirm and rule out everything. I am so glad my doctor picked her to refer me to. I truly feel am in good hands.

I was seen promptly and I love her. She is wonderful.

Rushed through my apt, doesn't listen to issues, acts like I am bothering her. I have multiple issues and they have been ongoing for years and she acts like she doesn't know what's wrong when I can do more research myself and figure out the problem. If you are young, she blows you off.
