Dr. Lucien R Ouellette, MD

Note I have been a long time patient of Ortho VA. But first time meeting Dr Ouellette. I highly recommend Dr Ouellette and if you need surgery for hip or knees highly recommend Dr Knustman. Dr Ouellette took his time to explain my X-ray and that he would relay everything over to Dr Knustman. So I feel very fortunate to have these 2 doctors here in Farmville.

Displayed little interest in me as a patient. Very abrupt. He did grudgingly take the time to explain my problem. After he recommended physical therapy he said at least 3 times “You can go anywhere you want. No need to come here “. I left feeling as though I was unimportant to your practice.

Everyone was very kind and professional. It is so nice to have this specialty in Farmville. Highly recommend!

Definitely moves fast, but he really seems to know what he's doing. I've had to bounce around location to location during my recovery, causing problems with records and continuity, but Dr Ouellette was able to jump right in like he'd been treating me for months!

Very knowledgeable but not very friendly

I was able to get a visit within 2 days of my initial phone call. Everyone in the office was professional yet personable and I would recommend them to everyone as my sister recommended me to you.

I've been dealing with pain for so many years now and have done so many test and imaging and there's never really an answer. Dr. Ouellette not only went over every aspect of the images with me but he thoroughly explained all the different details as to what is happening and what we can do to start correcting it. I don't think anyone has ever been this thorough which allowed me to better understand what's happening inside my body. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing ortho care and physical therapy

I found Dr. Ouellette to be professional and kind. His staff took X-rays of my knee and were also professional. Dr. Ouellette shared the X-rays with me as he explained my situation. As an RN, I appreciated the opportunity to have a look at them as well. I required a cortisol injection for my knee. I was pleasantly surprised that he did this without causing me any further pain. When I left I immediately called my PCP and my daughter, who is a nurse practitioner, and expressed how pleased I was and recommended they send patients to Dr. Ouellette. I am grateful for the speedy and superior care!
