Dr. Lucy Burciaga, MD

I’ve been going to Internal Medicine Doctors for nearly 40 years for Thyroid Diseases. Dr Burciaga is the doctor that really took the time to listen to me about issues with Thyroid. She doesn’t sugarcoat the diagnosis, she tells you like it is. The true facts. I respect Dr. Burciaga whole heartily. I’m very pleased with this doctors bedside manner. I strongly recommend Dr. Burciaga as a Primary doctor and for any Internal Medicine needs. The staff is extremely helpful. Highly recommend this Dr.

Dr. B is a physician who cannot be trusted. She obtains no history, does not care for abnormal labs, not willing to consider differential diagnosis, biased, incompetent, does not refer patients to specialist, does not return phone calls, does not discuss prognosis and intimidates patients even when you politely ask question related to your health concerns, no empathy, bad bed manners, dictatorship. Overall, worst physician on this planet

New to area and happy to have found this doctor

My father in law has seen Dr. Burciaga 2 times. The first visit she seemed somewhat interested, she said a Physical Therapist would be contacting us as well as a Nutritionist.They never contacted us.Today my Father in Law had a Follow up.When we walked into Dr Burciaga's office she was turned away from us facing her computer screen for a few minutes,she did not acknowledge us whatsoever.. When I asked about the Nutritionist & Physical Therapist she said it would not be worth it.I am a little confused because she was the one who recommended it..She was VERY RUDE and No help whatsoever. We will be changing Doctors asap..

Dr. Burciaga is pretty thorough when she is diagnosing a problem, we all need to remember doctors are not miracle workers they are there to help with our illnesses but they can not always make everyone 100% better, I think a lot of us take our doctors for granted and want them to fix or cure our illnesses immediately this is just not reality. Dr. Burciaga has been my doctor for a number of years unfortunately however i have had to change my primary care doctor due to taking a position and only seeing local patients in the area on saturdays and due to no fault of her own it just does not work with my schedule. I do feel that Dr. Burciaga is a very good doctor.

Disbelieves ongoing life-long problems that were diagnosed 6 years prior (MS), and insists on getting an MRI, but due to incompetence of either the doctor or her staff, the orders never get put in. We've waited 2 years for my wife's MRI (which is supposed to be an annual thing), and it still hasn't happened or processed.

I actually felt like I was being listened to and cared for, I love Lucy!

I am a 72 year old male and she has been my Dr. for about a year and a half. She is a friendly caring Dr. and on two occasions she has called me at home after office hours to correct a med. that I had from another Dr. and the last time she called was to explain a med. to me so I could make a informed decision as to what med. I wanted to take. THAT'S CARING! Best Dr. I have ever had!!

Office staff misplaces documentation; overall seem very incompetent.

Dr. Burciaga is an awesome internist. She is caring and open with her patients and follows through with her medications. If I had not moved, she would still be my doctor. I recommend her without reservation.
