Dr. Lucy Demerjian Flynn, MD

She is the absolute worst doctor I have ever come in contact with. Sent my daughter who is in college to her, she was dealing with bad anxiety and depression. Not only did Lucy Flynn dismiss her concerns, she made her feel guilty for her symptoms. She even used the exact quote "your just going to have to suck it up and go to class, we all have to do things we don't like." when my daughter expressed that she was feeling so depressed it was interfering with her classwork. Then, this is the worst part, she switched her on and off 4+ medications in the span of three weeks which for anyone who knows anything about the psych medicine world is absolutely ridiculous. For three weeks she was throwing up, fainting, waking up in the middle of the night violently shaking, and contacting Dr. Flynn who would not call her back, send her a short text saying to "just push through" or prescribe her a new medication. She was following a doctors orders, someone she thought she could trust. This left her… in severe withdrawal, ending up in a psych ward and having to take a semester off from college because of severe vertigo, fainting spells and concentration issues. Now we have spent thousands of dollars on therapy to not only help her original diagnosises but for a PTSD diagnosis from this experience. Over a year later she still is very visibly suffering from this experience and the residual side effect from coming on and off medication too fast. Please anyone who has an experience like this with this women speak out, I do not want another young child, or person in general, to have to face the ignorance, and complete lack of care that this "doctor" provides. In fact we should work together to get her license taken away!

Dr Flynn was my psychiatrist for four years. I had a grand mal seizure on a medication she prescribed me and all she did was lower the dose. I couldn’t drive for six months because of this seizure. The last appointment I had with her she was completely dismissive about my severe depression and anxiety. Two months later I ended up in the psych ward of the hospital she works in and she never once came to visit me over the six days I was there. She admits that she saw me on the list of patients in the psych ward. I was then transferred and hospitalized for another 8 weeks at a different hospital where I was properly diagnosed by a psychiatrist that actually listened to me and gave me the right medication. I haven’t heard from her since that last appointment and it has been a year since getting out of that hospital. I am the best I have have ever been since before I started seeing here. I STRONGLY urge you to not see her.

She is pompous, rude, and condescending. Gave wrong diagnosis and medication that ruined a year of my life. Arrogant and judgemental is an understatement. Forewarning stay away from her she will leave you with a chill in your spine!

I will not speak highly about Dr. Lucy D Flynn, MD... so let me just rate my recent experiance per the rating system, but, to just to give you an idea, Dr. Flynn was a bitter disapointment. Let's just say she can leave you with a chill running down your spine!
