Dr. Lucy Stone, MD

This year when I had my "free " annual physical Dr. Stone charged me over $300. She put down for 7 diagnosis's even tho I came only for my annual. She made me sound like a nut case. She asked me about prior visits to other doctors and gave me diagnosis's I never heard of. The other doctors I saw didn't say those diagnosis's. She told me she gave me my "Medicare" physical. I told her I am not on Medicare. Her nurse mentioned Medicare too & I told her( before I saw the DR.) I am not on Medicare. The receptionist took my insurance card from my job. I do not know why they kept bringing up Medicare. She put me down for using my vitamins and had a reason why I should not take each of them. She was friendly when the exam started, but when I asked her if she was going to charge me for all the stuff she talked about, she acted like she did not know what I was saying. She had done the same thing to me a couple years ago and I had to call and talk to several people to get the charges removed.… She said she has no control over the bill. I found out from another doctor that she indeed does know. She is the one who does the billing and decides what to bill. Her whole attitude changed and she got very defensive. I will be seeing someone else next year for my physical.

Wait Time. My appointment was at 4:30 pm. I was seen at 5pm. Bedside manner: Treats me like I'm a child. I should do this, I should do that..Been asking repeatedly for a shingles shot. They're always out of stock. :>(

Awful Doctor Dr.Stone was extremely rude and disrespectful.

I highly suggest you never visit this office. Dr. Stone and her entire staff are unprofessional and rude and incompetent. I have three major complaints to share with you: 1. I went to see Dr. Stone for a "free yearly physical" that my insurance company provides. They billed me $400 for the visit. The doctor asked ME about things from my past visits and therefore charged me for discussing those items. I DIDN"T BRING the subject up because it no longer is an issue, but because SHE brought it up they "coded" it in a way that they justified charging $400. When I got the bill I called CSM and they told me "don't worry you don't have to pay that." I didn't pay it and they sent me to collections. One year later they won't budge. I've filed complaints to the government because they are unwilling to help. 2. The staff in her office are unprofessional and vulgar. While waiting for my free physical in the exam room, with the door closed, I clearly heard some inappropriate… conversations which included the use of motherfu%&er and "I don't give a f**k!" Obviously completely inappropriate behavior. 3. When you call with billing questions or for help, the woman who answers the call is condescending and rude. She was upset with me when I called and said "you know now I have to go back and do more work because of this." Wow! I thought answering customer calls was her job. I complained to the supervisor and he called back and was nice. However, the next time I called 6 months later she was still there and still a terrible human being on the phone. 4. During my "Free physical" I told Dr. Stone I needed to get my "Free prostate cancer screening" that my insurance allows. She referred me to a specialist for this, which caused the specialist to bill me as a new patient and THEY charged me $400 as well. Again, I got no where and once again CSM sent me to collections and when I spoke with their office they pointed the finger at Dr. Stone and her incompetence. So I have two collections on my record all because of Dr. Stone. You have many many many choices for your healthcare issues. If you don't care about being overcharged or improperly charged, go ahead and see her. She is nice. However, she is unable to properly code your visit and her staff is the worst. Also please make the time I spent typing all of this out worthwhile by not visiting her.

I saw her twice and will not be seeing her again. Dr.Stone didn't listen, made several mistake on her report, and was dismissive. Her nurse also made several mistakes on my discharge summary and got very defensive when I pointed this out. I would give Dr. Stone minus stars if that was possible.

I remember going to Dr. Stone several years ago. She made comments about Americans eating too much and getting big plates of food. Granted, I did need to lose some weight but the reason for my visit was insomnia. She had no tact whatsoever. I wrote the clinic about her many rude comments and never got a response. A close friend of my family died due to Dr. Stone's misdiagnosis. She was a cancer survivor and had been experiencing pain in her side. She went to Dr. Stone and she was told that it was just gas. To everyone's amazement, she died shortly after that. Her cancer had returned.

All's good so far. I had my previous doctor for 30 years so Dr. Stone has big shoes to fill. So far she is doing a good job and knows quite a lot about my Lupus and complications from the Lupus.

She is NOT someone I would wish for my PCP. I find her to be rude, unwilling to listen, and "always right" to the point of being obnoxious..

Both my husband and I had to see this doctor each time on separate occasion she exhibit a nasty disposition towards the patients particularly african american to both my husbnd and I. She didnt say hello nor did she shake hands to introduce herself when entering the room. It almost seem she was upset I was there. So to break the ice I ask her how she was doing, but it soon escalated to a big argument about my care and treatment she knew nothing about because I would have been a new patient. She insulted my previous doctor treatment plan for me which she had none to offer. Then without knowing my history tried to tell me whatnI was allergic too. It was a nightmare she finally stormed out the room without looking back., which I thought was rude, lack the compassion and bedside manner for a person of her profession.

My doctor was on travel and I had to see Lucy Stone as a substitute. I was very very sick with a severe sinus infection and was scheduled to fly out of town. I requested a antibiotic to help me. All of the other doctors I have had would give me an antibiotic for this severe infection but she flatly refused. I had to fly with all of this pressure in my head and sinus. I thought that she was down right cruel.
