Dr. Luis Alfonso Padilla Paz, MD

He Gave no time or concern as chemo was showing progression of my cancer. He would not talk to me regarding my concerns from an X-ray that showed spreading in my lungs he had nurse talk to me with no explanation. I would not recommend this Dr. my cancer has now worsened and has spread to other areas in my body.

It is hard to say enough about all the ways in which Dr. Padilla is wonderful. Being referred to him 9 years ago when an ultrasound detected a large uterine mass after my nurse practioner ignored my symptoms of daily bleeding when I was past menopause, was a true blessing. He saved my life, did an extremely skillful surgery when my cancer was more advanced than had been expected, and had, and still has, the most wonderful office and nursing staff who guided me through chemotherapy which took place at his office. He has the most excellent beside manner, and I actually look forward to my annual visits with him. I certainly never experienced such compassionate care along with such skillful care anywhere before. Yes, because he has, I think, 4 practices in 4 different cities, appointments that are more routine than urgent do often take awhile before he can schedule a person in. His excellent reputation precedes him so he is most often super busy running between surgery and the office to… see patients. But once he is with you in the exam room, he is so totally present, listening to everything you have to say and taking the time to fully answer all questions posed to him, that no wait is too long from my point of view. He will always be one of my heroes, and given that not all angels wear their wings to work, he is surely one of them as well.

I have had an initial.consultation and am scheduled for surgery. Because Dr. Luis A. Padilla is following his God-given Destiny & calling to be a Surgeon... I am in The Best Hands! Thank you so much for your patient & gentle staff!

I was refered to another Oncologist who was a cold fish and very insensitive. I did have surgery scheduled with her but my gut was telling me she's not the one for me. I happened to be leaving hospital and started talking to a nice woman. She recommend Dr Padilla. My surgery for ovarian cancer was already scheduled but I decided to see if Dr Padilla would have time to take me on. Only a week til surgery I meet with Dr Padilla he was so kind and listened to all my questions and concerns. He was able to get me into surgery only a couple days after my previous appointment. This was the best move I could have made. The only problem with Dr Padilla is he is so busy and at time hard to get in for follow up appts. My case had very good outcome and I was not as needy as some of the more complicated cases he has and I'm sure they get all the attention they need. If only we could clone Dr Padilla what lucky women we would be ?! The staff is so great as well

Wonder bed side manners, awesome professionalism. Would highly recommend.

I think Dr. Padilla is a good doctor but the waiting in his office or in a gown in the exam room was horrific. I would leave work at 1:00pm for a 1:30 appointment and have to call and tell my staff I won't be back for the day , literally 3 hours wait for a 10 minute exam and meet and greet. Forget it.

Dr. Padilla is an exceptional human being as well as an amazing doctor.

There is nothing scarier than hearing the words you have cancer. Dr. Padilla made it so much easier,. He takes as much time as you need. He doesn't rush the appointments. He explains in details what the course of treatment will be. He truly is one of those doctors who is a doctor because he wants to help people. I hope you'll never need him because he is an oncologist but if you do, he's amazing.

I highly recommend Dr. Padilla Paz and his staff. Five-years ago I needed medical attention "urgently". Dr. Padilla Paz worked me into his very busy surgical schedule and I am truly grateful for his care...then and through these past five-years. He has always made himself, or staff, available to answer my phone calls - respond to requests for refilling prescriptions and responding to any questions/concerns as they arise. I recognize that on rare occasions when I could not speak to him directly; either due to patient emergency or to the fact that he also must make rounds at the hospital monitoring his surgical patients, my messages were accurately conveyed and addressed by his staff. I have the greatest respect and appreciation for Dr. Padilla Paz. Yes, he is both a busy professional and a truly outstanding and caring physician. Sincerely, thank you!
