Dr. Luis Manuel Sandoval, MD

Discounted everything I said he stated “nice story”. Told me to quit my job and when I indicated that would not be financially feasible he said “I don’t make up the social structure of our country, you’ll have to figure it out”. Left the visit feeing horrible and worse than before. Mortified at his condescending behavior!

SANDOVAL who should be named Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hyde. He is the worst cruelest Dr I've seen . He gave 3 strong medications - Risperdal , Haldol and Ativan simultaneously to my 69 year old father while he was at Kaiser Irvine Hospital admitted to be placed for skilled rehabilitation from his stroke! My dad had congestive heart failure , diabetes , hypertension , two strokes and quadruple bypass surgery. This doctor should have looked at the medical records before prescribing . Sandoval needs to try these 3 meds on himself and see the chemical imbalance which will takes place. Perhaps then he will know what being over-medicated is like. He ordered my dad in a straight jacket as well for many hours which rubbed against his tracheostomy tube and knock it out. This is Elder Abuse! The nurses on shift were oblivious to this as I showed up and saw it right away. I was there as witness for many hours. Drs tried to place the tracheostomy tube back by force causing my dad pain and it… wouldnt go in. So they had to put my dad under in the o.r. to do it. All this after just 1 month earlier he recovered from a devastating 2nd stroke 3 months on life support. I spoke with Sandoval on the phone and told him what happened and he was extremely rude to me. Sandoval will have his license taken away before his career is over because others have given terrible reviews on other websites which is no surprise. Kaiser deleted my previous review from 2 days ago. I can verify all this experience in detail as its documented with dates and times.

Rude, arrogant, and unprofessional. Spoken to me like I was a child. Lazy and makes major decisions off of one test instead of all the data collected.
