Dr. Luisa Burgio, PhD

This person, I can not call her professional because she has treated me by a phone so bad, she has even accused me of fraud because she did not know how to verify my medical insurance, she didn't let alone speak or explain to verify my insurance. Nothing professional or even ethical to treat a new patient. Someone who just made it clear to me that I don't need therapy with someone like that, made me see that she needs more help than I do. Not recommended at all. So Unprofessional.

I have had many therapists throughout my life, and none have been as effective as Dr Burgio. Insightful, comforting and patient, she helped me get a handle on my mental illness and gave me tools to live my life productively and happily. Seeing her changed my life for the better and I highly recommend her.

I saw her a few years. She was very nice and quite helpful. I’d like to go back for some help with issues I have and have left emails and called three times and between she or her receptionists(?) nobody returns calls. Now looking for another therapist. It’s like she can’t be bothered.
