Dr. Corsten preformed surgery on me and I must say the results were fantastic. I didn't even know the surgery had been done until he came to my room and I asked he when are we getting started. He simply smiled and said we are done and you did fine.

I honestly could write a book about how horrible patient care was from both clinic nurse and doctor.

Dr. Corsten is exceptional. He performed surgery on my husband. My husband was transferred to OLOL after a very large tumor was found on his brain. We were blessed to have Dr. Corsten assigned to his care. The surgery was an extremely difficult surgery with very high risk. My husband has had a miraculous recovery. Thanks to Dr. Corsten for being an amazing physician. Hands down the best neurosurgeon.

He is the best of the best. He is an outstanding physician. He was a blessing and turned my life around. I recommend him to any one who needs back surgery.

Dr. Corsten lacks the specialized skills and social aptitude to address complicated brain injury cases and responsibly communicate to family members. Even if a patient is confined by proximity in insurance to Baton Rouge, thorough research of their neurosurgeon is strongly advised before placing them in the hands of a surgeon like Luke Corsten. Life is worth a second opinion and more qualified individual even if it means paying out of pocket.

The appointment desk is very unfriendly when I call. I feel like I'm wasting their time calling to make my appointment. I was eagerly given a pin and encouraged to create an account, so I can email if I have questions and such. The nurse either does not reply, is not helpful or is delayed in her response (as in several days). Although I really like this doctor, I'm considering finding another physician so that I don't have to deal with the unfriendly and obviously unhappy staff.

I have seen many doctors through out my life and had 6 surgeries. All doctors where awesome. Dr. Corsten performed 2 out of my surgeries and the most serious and life threatening . He is the best of the best doctors I have ever met and received a treatment by him. I can write all day about his knowledge as a doctor, neurosergion, and a nice and respectful human and person. I wish him always all e best and prosperous life full of success.
