Dr. Luna Iskenderian Khadour, MD

I have been to this doctor for a few years solely on location convenience (no other reason). Recently, I had to stop. My first issue is for the fact of her lack of knowledge on a wide range of issues and resolutions. While her bedside manner is professional, I just know that if I have a medical issue outside of a simple "antibiotic", not to visit her as I won't get the help I need. My second issue is with her office. I find them rude, lacking empathy, judgmental, and forgetful.

My elderly aunt has been a patient if Dr Khadour for years. She recently had to be admitted to a nursing facility. They required a medical form and Dd Khadour refused to complete it, her office saying she had to see her first. What part of she’s in nurse home and unable to be moved did she not understand? Now I understand rules, protocol, etc but there was ABSOLUTELY no attempt on Dr Khadour’s part to help us by offering a virtual exam or even contacting the facility to see if there was compromise everyone would be comfortable with. I’d NEVER recommend her. Stay away

Dr. Khadour is very easy to talk to and listens to your complaints and requests. She never rushes you out and is very personable.

Both my husband and I are Dr. Khadour's patients. She is by far the best family physician we have ever had in our 60 plus years. Dr. Khadour is so professtional, personable, attentive and knowledgeable. We will never change to a different family physician. I have been a patient of Memorial Family Medicine for five years now, and loved all of the previous doctors I have visited. I went to Dr. Khadour for the first time recently (because the Nurse Practitioner who I typically see was not available) and the visit was absolutely atrocious. I suffer from chronic acute sinusitis; I have my entire life, and only specific antibiotics work at this point. I explained that to her along with my symptoms (characteristic to that of a sinus infection), and she immediately refused to prescribe me antibiotics "because it could be allergies." I have allergies, and I know the difference. She then recommended for me to see an ENT, which I explained that I had already been when I was younger, and she said that my sinuses could have changed. By the time I received the appropriate documentation from her office to go to the ENT, three weeks had passed and I was still sick, progressively getting worse. When I went to the ENT, he said that I had a sinus… infection and did not recommend further visits- imagine that!! Aside from this debacle that has cost me hundreds of dollars and caused me to be ill for a month, her bedside manner and ability/ willingness to listen were awful. I am an educated woman, and she spoke to me like I was behaving like a high school student who got in trouble in school. If you are able, please do not go to this doctor.

Easy access to wonderful care.

We live about 65 miles away from Jacksonville, but I chose Dr. Khadour after reviewing many on-line profiles. Truthfully, my initial thinking was that a female doctor educated primarily in Baghdad HAD to be better than most, and very determined--enough so to get to the USA and set up a practice. Then, after our initial interview, I was so very pleased to find out that she was approachable, caring and actually LISTENED to our clear preferences and needs. Soon after that, my husband began wheezing and breathing with difficulty and I called for an appt., fully expecting to have to wait for days and be relegated to the "urgent care" mass market... BUT, to my surprise and delight, he was able to be seen as rapidly as he could drive the miles between us... She was able to target the problem and he is happily taking medication and getting better. I am VERY happy and satisfied that I chose this doctor, and since we am "loyal to good care providers," we will continue to stick with her!! In… addition, she is very nice.... a term that covers a multitude of areas. We are lucky!!!!

I have been coming to this office since 2008. I enjoy the more personal touch. The care is genuine. I get in when needed, appointments are on time and the discussions are thorough.

Great doctor, great practice.

Everyone in the office is friendly and helpful. I never wait more than 10 minutes. You know you received excellent care when you leave the office.
