Dr. Lurley John Archambeau, MD

When I thought it was to hard to handle things I found Dr.Archambeau and I have stayed with him for twenty years. He listens he doesn't give medication until he is sure what your problem is and most important he treats you as a person. That's everything!

I have been a patient of Dr. A for nearly 20 years. He was the Dr. that finally correctly diagnosed me with Bi-polar Disorder after being seen by numerous other Dr.s whom seemed clueless to my obvious symptoms. Besides being well educated he has a wonderful bedside manner, is very understanding of patients concerns. For example, he was running late one day, and I had been waiting for almost 45 mins, when I finally made it into his office, I told him I didn't appreciate having to wait, that it was not very compassionate to make someone with a mood disorder wait so long.... He agreed, apologized and I have never waited more than 20 mins since. He is a good man, and a great Dr.

I have trust in Dr. Archambeau. He is a very bright and learned man. He has had so much experience in the psychiatric field in the Toledo area. His staff is friendly and patient. It would be hard to replace Dr.Archabeau and his staff.

After waiting for Dr. Archambeau for almost 1 hour past my appointment time, he casually walked in the front door of his office, through the waiting area, and right past me me - with his bagged lunch in his hand! I waited another 20 minutes after I brought it to the attention of his receptionists that I had an appointment over an hour ago. When I met with him, he rushed me in and out of his office. He wrote me a prescription and spent about 2 minutes with me total. I never went back. This guys is terrible.

I've been a patient of Dr. Archambeau fornearly ten years. He is accommodating , has a terrific "bedside manner" and really takes time with me.

The waiting time was long but he is so worth it. He takes the time he needs with you and that is what matters the most.
