After driving 40 minutes with hip pain, Dr. Ashberg claimed he was on a tight schedule, complained that I was a few minutes late, and refused to give me a hip injection or offer any other treatment. He actually suggested that I get another doctor or come back some other time, and was quite arrogant in his attitude. I was shocked, and left in pain. I called the office manager Who was supposed to follow up and get back to me but I never heard from her nor anyone else. I would never use this medical practice again.

Dr. Ashberg is a very skilled, knowledgeable, honest and compassionate Dr. I had had a horrible pain in my lower back, my hip, my leg and down to my knee for so long that I couldn’t even remember how and when it all started! I thought I would just have to live with it … Dr. Ashberg was able to identify the source of the pain immediately, which was my right hip! He operated on my hip, my surgery went very well, and I was up and walking within 5 days. I have not had any pain at all after my surgery, and have not had any need to take pain medications. I only had some discomfort due to stiff muscles after surgery. I was able to go back to work approximately two weeks after my surgery, where I have to sit and stand at least a 100 times a day, and walk from one room to another as fast as I can. I am happy to say that I feel GREAT! I am back to dancing, hiking and also riding horses, I am able to enjoy all my activities without discomfort. Dr. Ashberg’s team at Atlantis Orthopaedics in Palm… Beach Gardens were wonderful. I always felt respected and everyone I dealt with in their office was attentive and efficient. Especially Donna, she is awesome. I rarely take time to write reviews, but this one is very well deserved ! Dr. Lyall Ashberg has my respect and I give him my highest recommendation.

Highly Recommend this Surgeon. My daughter had a procedure done on her shoulder. We are happy and grateful for ALL the care that was provided to us throughout the ordeal. Our questions were handled with patience and understanding . Our overall experience with Dr. Ashberg and his Staff was positive.

We took my 86 year old father who had a broken wrist to see this doctor two weeks ago. At the first appointment, two days after the injury, this doctor did not even take his own X-rays of the wrist...in fact, when I called to make tha appointment, the staff said we did not need to bring the X-rays from the hospital because they would take their own X-rays. This doctor chose to delay putting my dad in a cast until the next appointment, one week later. We returned for that appointment and that is when the doctor finally took an X-ray and after reading the X-ray promptly decided my dad needed surgery ASAP.. Mind you, it was now 2 weeks after the wrist break and my dad still had no cast! Needless to say, we were very disappointed by the lack of attention my father received. Would never recommend this doctor.

Dr. Ashberg has treated 2 of my children and I am very happy with him as an orthopedic surgeon. His office is extremely busy, so expect long wait times, but worth it if you want the BEST for your children.
