Dr. Lydia Jane Lam

Dr. Lydia Lam Is the bravest healthcare warrior I have ever encountered. A judge of a good doctor is who is willing to help you when you are in a medical crisis and when no one else wants to deal with a case that is complicated. Dr. Lam is humble, steadfast, a clinical expert, compassionate, kind, and professional. My family is forever grateful for her rescuing my daughter from 3 months of post op infection, edema, and dysfunction after wisdom tooth removal from another doctor/practice. At the point we reached her practice my daughters jaw range of motion was limited from chronic long-term infection and unresolved post op healing. The initial surgeon did all he could to resolve, but after 3 months it was worsening and we had nowhere to turn and no one would help us. I feared a more systemic infection could occur and /or jaw contracture. Dr. Lam was our New Year’s angel of mercy willing to advocate for a community member in crisis. It was a difficult case, but she rose to the challenge… with grace and compassion. Her follow-up, communication skills, and that of her office were exemplary. We were seen in a timely and respectful manner at all times. She is our healthcare hero!!!!!!!
