Dr. Lyle Edward Cartwright, MD

Dr. Cartwright is great. The staff at the front desk is not. Twice now I’ve had an appointment that got canceled because Dr. Cartwright went on vacation and the staff doesn’t bother to confirm the patient knows and can reschedule. Both times I showed up (two appointments in a row) to learn I didn’t have an appointment. No apology. Just a, “We called three months ago.” No effort made to avoid the hour long drive for nothing. I’m finding a new doctor and it’s not because of him.

My experirnce with Dr. Cartwright has been excellent. He is casual, yet professional, in his approach. His exam was thorough and his treatment was excellent. He referred me to a skin cancer physician to remove a skin cancer. My followup appointment with Dr. Cartwright was as pleasant as the initial one. I would recommend him to my family members.

I went to Dr. Cartwright for a skin cancer check. While he was pleasant and friendly, the exam itself was cursory as well as limited in scope. Dr. Cartwright "examined" me visually from 3 feet away. He did not check unexposed areas. Unless he has superpowers, there is not a chance he could detect anything that I wouldn't have seen already seen myself. I will not return to this office.
