Dr. Lyndon Dale Waugh, MD

I have had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Lyndon Waugh on a clinical basis for well over 30 years. His knowledge and the ability to explain "how", "why" and "what's next" is remarkable. Many of my family members and I have and are currently being treated by Dr. Waugh of addiction and mental health. It is both an emotional and mental relief that someone like Dr. Waugh is available to treat genetic and and mental health issues that my family and I have been diagnosed.

Dr. Lyndon Waugh is one of the most knowledgeable MD's that I have ever met. His manner with patients is both kind and informative. I would highly recommend him.

This entire group has a bad habit of leaving town or not coming in to the office even though a patient needs a medication refill. I have ha this experience several times and it creates a difficult situation. My ADHD medication is designed to be taken every day. A three or four day period without medication, while not fatal, causes unnecessary problems for me. I would think twice before deciding on this group treating you for whatever you problem is. He continues to write prescriptions for my step children who haven't seen him in years. It is despicable.

Dr. Waugh is an expert diagnostician, prescriber, and he is humble, relatable, and highly empathic.

I could search the Oxford English Dictionary to extract the most pointed word to define what Dr. Waugh has done for me, but I believe I would be unable to find it. Dr. Waugh is relentless in his search for the best treatment, he is compassionate and humanly empathic to his patients' suffering, and he infuses humor and candor into tough conversations. Dr. Waugh personally invests in his patients' care. A physician of his ilk could easily be disengaged and delegate menial tasks to assistants and support staff. Instead, Dr. Waugh offers the gift of being the first contact. This is the difference. Being a top-notch physician is only a part of who Dr. Waugh is. He knows research. He takes care to inform patients of side effects, and he is diligent in responding to urgent needs. In addition, it is clear that Dr. Waugh is also a person of strong character, unquestionable ethics, and consummate integrity. To say that Dr. Waugh has saved and changed my life more than a few times is not… hyperbolous. Dr. Waugh did not settle for my "stability" or "functionality." He took care that I attained a quality of life I could not have imagine for myself. I was hopeless and jaded to the idea that I could do anything other than merely survive. Dr. Waugh gave me permission to give myself permission to know contentment, live with joy, and accept that people in my life can be trusted. Dr. Waugh is a gem. Truly. Like a priest or minister called to serve God with focus, faith, and intention, Dr. Waugh is a plain clothes servant to where and to whom he is called.

He is one of the most intelligent people I have ever met, and when "it" hits the fan, he has gone above and beyond to truly improve my life. I'm 31 and I've seen many, many doctors... I've never met with a doc as excellent as this one. His tandem with Will Hart and others is extremely helpful also. They've given hope and a chance to a man who had given up.

Dr. Waugh is one of the most caring compassionate Doctors in this world. I have seen him since I was twelve and am now 30. He has helped my family and me work through bi-polar, ADHD, learning disabilities, and provided ongoing medical treatments, medical adjustments, and 24 hour phone support. During my most fragile times as a teenager he would return phone calls at 2am. He has helped my mother and father work through much of the stress within their relationship caused by my behaviors and disabilities. Dr. Waugh has always seen that I was a special individual with remarkable talents. He stood by and encouraged me through my toughest times. He also celebrated and encouraged me during my best times. I lived overseas for a year where he still provided long-distance treatment through phone calls and liver toxin testing. Dr. Waugh also enabled me to recieve University disability services accommodations at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. Had it not been for Dr. Waugh,… I do not think that I would have been succesfful at top ranked educational institutions.Now that I am thirty, I am both an academic, carreer, and social success story. Although I tell Dr. Waugh that much of that is due to him, he reassures me that all that he provided was the therapy, strategies, and appropriate medications to enable me to be the be all that I am today.If I could give Dr. Waugh 10 stars I would. The only drawback is he does not take insurance, but I still pay, because my mental, physical, and emotional health is invaluable.If you are a new patient, and able to wait for an appointment, then do so. He is so difficult to schedule an appointment with because he is truly the best, and well worth waiting for.
