Dr. Lynn Allison Baden, MD

After being almost 15 years a patient of Lynn Baden I think I was just too lazy to change. But that has come to an end. She is the most arrogant, uncaring doctor I have ever had. After asking her to remove a growth on my breast that was huge and disgusting, she insisted that insurance would not pay for it and she could do nothing about it. It itched and bothered me so much that I constantly scratched at it until it bled. I eventually, piece by piece, removed it myself. Her assistant’s comment was, “Oh you did a good job.” I suffer from rosacea which she treats me for with antibiotics. So many times, my prescription has run out and they refuse to refill it. The last time I had not seen her for awhile but I was very ill for a month. I made an appointment to come in and they said that they called in the prescription. I called the pharmacy and they had refused to fill it even though I had made an appointment to come in. This has happened repeatedly. It is my opinion that she… cares very little for her patients’ wellbeing and I am done with her.

I did some laser procedure on my face in Dr. Baden's Newton Center office before she closed it. After procedure I left with bad burns all over my face. I asked what happened, and was told that these burns would go away. Instead they left permanent round marks all over my face. I am terribly upset. And of course the got me to sign some "disclaimer" before performing procedure, so I can't even sue them. When I asked for help and what my options are, Dr. Baden just disappeared and couldn't be reached for any suggestions. I would never go there again, very unprofessional.

Dr. Baden was highly recommended by a friend, I booked my first appointment with her about 4 months ago. I have now been to her office twice for separate issues that she was able to diagnose and resolved after following her recommendations. She runs on schedule which is a nice change from some other specialty offices I have been to in the past. Dr. Baden is a great dermatologist and her staff is always very friendly. I would absolutely recommend her to others!

Burned and permanently damaged my skin. Dr. Baden refused to see the damage and emailed some unhelpful suggestion. Terrible experience. Would not recommend.

I have never seen a more unprofessional office. I came to my appointment to be told that they forgot to write down my appointment. The secretary that I spoke with blamed me for scheduling a new patient visit in the afternoon even though there was no way I could know their schedule. Despite all of this the doctor did not take the time to see me because she was "on her way out". In addition they offered to let me see the nurse practitioner if I wanted to wait 30 minutes past my appointment time. I would never go back to that office.

I like the doctor very much and have for years. I am getting sick of the passive aggressive receptionist who seems to take pride in making your visit miserable. I have seen more people come close to tears, including me.
