Dr. Lynn Aohn Crosby, MD

When I came out of surgery, my shoulder didn't hurt. The therapy is causing pain, but I understand that I am breaking up scar tissue and increasing my range of motion in my right arm, so it can just HURT! Dr. Crosby is a genuis.

I did not have replacement, but major rebuild including bicep tendon replacement, labrum tear, rotator cuff tear, muscle separation. Great at explaining what I wanted to know and understand about the work. Surgery follow up was great with my wife explaining what needed to be done. Follow up after surgery and as therapy progressed was excellent. A very professional doctor. People told me shoulder surgery was very difficult. Mine was not an issue. I attribute that to either I am a really tough old bird or he is a great surgeon.

I did not expect the recovery to take so long, but after 6 months my shoulder was great. Physical therapy is essential for at least three months unless one is motivated to work at it without someone to encourage and push. I'm hoping Dr. Crosby will take me on for the other shoulder replacement. I was not the most patient person. Dr. Crosby has the best bedside manners--a perfect gentleman, great guy, and a fine doctor.

Dr. Crosby has done rotator cuff surgery on me and later complete shoulder replacement. I had to drive from out of state for the second surgery because I liked him so much. He has always spent the time with me that was needed, and I think he is the best.
