Dr. Smolik is a compassionate doctor who truly cares about each patient. She is extremely thorough and gives easy to understand explanations about your case. I would highly recommended her for women undergoing breast cancer diagnosis or treatment.

Lynn Smolik is one of a kind. Her friendliness, patience, willingness to take time with us, knowledge, expertise, all surpassed my greatest expectations. She is what doctors used to be like before HMOs and PPOs took over and reduced the quality of care a doctor could give. Lynn still gives excellent quality of care and takes pride in it. I would always pay the extra to have someone like Lynn. She is the best.

She seems to be a knowledgeable doctor, but her charges are excessive compared to what other surgeons with same level of experience and expertise are charging. I would recommend anyone to shop around before signing up with Dr. Smolik for consultation, surgery, etc.

Dr. Smolik was recommended by my gynaecolist after a diagnosis of DCIS in my breast. She gave me an appointment asap , even though it wasn't her usual day for seeing patients. She is kind and compassionate. She was also very thorough in her explanations, and very efficient in guiding me in what I need to do. She was very available to discuss any of my concerns.The only reason I did not choose Dr. Smolik for surgery is that she will be going on vacation. If not, I'm sure I would have been in good hands.

Upon a request for a second opinion on my recently diagnosed breast cancer, I was referred to Dr. Smolik by one of the most highly respected and knowledgeable radiologists at Stanford University and Hospitals.Dr. Smolik gratiously made all efforts to fit me into her busy schedule before leaving on a business trip. She carefully examined all films, reports, and performed her own meticulous exam, in addition to carefully explaining her diagnosis to my husband and me. The next day, Dr. Smolik went beyond being extraordinary by sending her report to my primary physician, another breast cancer surgeon, and the above- referenced radiologist, in addition to having a 30-minute telephone conference with the other surgeon, and calling the radiologist both at her office and at home in the evening. All this attention was given to my case, a last minute appointment before Dr. Smolik's packing to leave town.Any breast cancer patient who chooses Dr. Smolik as their surgeon would be in good hands,… and she is highly regarded by leading physicians in the area.If I could rate her with 10 stars, I would do that.
