Dr. Lynn Qilin Zhang, MD

My experience with Dr. Lynn Q. Zhang seemed good during my first visit, however his severe tunnel vision and overbearing ego were revealed in follow up messages when I had forwarded some of my research regarding my own health, something he agreed to. In short, Dr. Zhang feels like the type of doctor to come up with a plan on day 1, and not let any amount of information—no matter how correct or emergent—change that plan. I've primarily been asking for an MRI and he is adamant on relying on a "notoriously unreliable" nerve conduction test. Those were his words. It's not unwarranted at all either, since the last sacral spine MRI I had received was prior to the accident that worsened my symptoms; an accident in which something hit my sacrum directly. Dr. Lynn Zhang is not the neurologist you want to see if you have any hunches about your health. He will only selectively listen.

If you want a doctor who doesn’t listen to you, because he only believes what he sees, he’s your guy. It took 3 months to get an appointment, then 6 months more of by-the-book methodical testing to get the diagnosis I was referred to him for.
