The best caring patient brilliant doctor I have ever had

Very rude and condescending, the type of psychiatrist that can put you in a bad mood when your feeling good. Overall terrible experience would never recommend her to anyone.

I'm not sure I need a psychiatrist? If I did, I'm not sure this would be a good fit?

Is straight to the point kind of Doctor.

I am a relativly new patient to this Doctor but so far I am very pleased. She seems to be well educated and I like the fact she is not shoving pills down my throat. I find some Doctors just want to give you more and more meds. I am happy thus far.

Found Dr. Rakita after having a terrible experience with another doctor who would just add another medication to the one that wasn't working. It got to a point I was on three different medications and still feeling terrible.Dr. Rakita asks the important questions and helps guide you to find the best medication for your needs.

I personally think she is a fabulous doctor. She listens to your story asking pertinent questions and gives advice. Willing to re-evaluate meds as necessary. Most important you don't spend a tremendous amount of time in her office - which I like. She gets right to the point. I think she is fabulous compared to the last doctor I had who kept his patients waiting for 1 to 2 hrs at a time.
