Dr. Mabel Ifeyinwa Njoku, MD

I've been taking my now 7yo daughter to Dr. Njoku since she was born. We love her. Both herself and the entire staff are patient and great with kids. Dr. Njoku informs you of the science for treatments and vaccinations and encourages being an informed healthcare consumer. She will let you know if it's safe to take a wait and see approach to a cold or when kiddo needs medication ASAP. She will also work with you on alternative vaccination schedules or skipping a couple vaccines for the time being. She ordered in vaccines especially for my daughter with lower Aluminum when I requested them, etc. Before deciding on Dr. Njoku, I visited 3-4 other pediatricians and all of them seemed big on feeding into my first time mom fears, rather than being reassuring and all of them told me what they were going to do to care for my child and made it very clear I would have ZERO say in the matter. It was their way or the highway. I've never had that feeling with Dr. Njoku. She's a doctor and she's… going to encourage vaccinations but she's also reasonable and willing to work with you. She doesn't blindly follow growth charts and diagnose "failure to thrive" just because a baby is small or suggest supplementing with formula or adding rice to formula to get babies to sleep. She supports safe bed-sharing. In other words, if your a slightly crunchy Mom who is trying to make informed choices for your little ones. She's a great pediatrician.

Awaited for a doctor more then 1,5 hour with the sick baby...it's a shame...

I like how she talks to my daughter as well as me during the appointment even if it is the medical stuff with me and the small talk with my daughter, it makes my child feel part of what's goingon.

Dr. Njoku is the Best. Very professional while at the same time being part of the family. She listens and truly cares about her patience

Dr. Njoku is by far the best pediatrician I have encountered. She truly cares for these children and is very personable. I have yet to meet a pediatrician who has shown such dedication and attentiveness to my children and their needs. She is always courteous and friendly, she takes the time to explain and answer any questions, concerns, we the parents may have. She is clear and thorough and never makes us feel anything but at ease throughout any well or sick visit. Unfortunately, we moved out of state and miss her dearly. She has definitely set some high standards in our eyes for another pediatrician to fill. I just want to say a big thank you to Dr. Njoku for all her dedication and love she has shown my children while in her care. Thank you and to anyone reading this, if you are looking for a more personal experience instead of just being another insurance policy number, you will not be disappointed when visiting this pediatricians.

My kids have been patients of Dr.Njoku since they were born. She's very caring, knowledgeable and big part of our life. My son had reflux and several food allergies and Dr.Njoku guided my husband and I through this process. My daughter had ear infection after ear infection. What would we do without Dr.Njoku??

She is a wonderful dr. I could not ask for better. She takes her time and explains things and is not rushed.
