Dr. Madelyn Louise Jacobs, MD

Dr Jacobs has listened to me every time I have gone in to see her. She is very compassionate and has a great personality. She saved my husband's life and has referred me to specialists when she feels I need it. I'm not going anywhere else until she retires and I am forced to. Her staff has always been very polite. I have rarely had to wait very long to see her. At the end of the appointment she asks if there is anything else she can help me with. Top notch doctor.

I have been dealing with low blood sugar for a while now. After coming to her today with the information, she did not believe me. Instead of it being a conversation, it was more of her spilling facts and insisting that it was my depression and anxiety. I wish she would of looked into this with me and why it is that I don't feel well. After starting with one solution, testing my glucose at home. She got a nurse to show me how to test it. But before the nurse came into the exam room, I heard her speak to the nurse tell her that she didn't think that anything was actually wrong with me... After being her patient for a few years now I never really took a liking to her. I never felt like she took time listen to me and invest into the importance of my health. As a patient I understand that I am my own advocate and don't want her to imply that I am a hypochondriac. I have also heard other doctors say that she will often have appointments made for 9am and won't come in until… 9:15, this being a usual thing. On ratemds.com there are some other reviews that align with some of the points I have made.

Really terrific. Very warm and compassionate. Made me feel very appreciated and, frankly, saved my life.

Madelyn Jacobs is a horrible doctor. Be prepared to spend 2 hours waiting with very unprofessional, unfriendly employees of Jacobs. Then, when Madelyn Jacobs finally decides to see her patient, be prepared to be suffocated by her body odor.

Dr. Jacobs is thorough. She's quick to identify what the problem is, and also to recommend to a specialist if needed. I've never had to wait terribly long to see her. She gets the job done well. I suspect those who believe she doesn't listen, are apt to long conversations. If Dr. Jacobs were to take the time to talk about the weather, everyone else would have to wait. I'd prefer not to wait, and talk about the weather with someone else.

Has been very rude several times and doesn't seem to care. Won't listen to patient's concerns.

Dr Jacobs took time to listen to me, answered all of my questions and then asked me if there was anything else I needed or wanted to talk about. She is very personable and informative. I highly recommend her!
