Meet Madhish Patel

Dr. Madhish Patel spent his early years in East Africa where he played international Cricket for Uganda. Though he had the opportunity to work with the leading aluminum and steel fabricators of the region, with the only powder coating and electro anodizing plant in East Africa, he found and followed his calling and changed career paths, completed his bachelor’s degree in biological sciences at Benedictine University, Illinois and then went on to complete a master’s degree from Midwestern University before attending the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Taking advantage of his established skill sets, he completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency in Grand Blanc, Michigan, a Michigan State University SCS where he served as Chief Resident. During his residency, he spent time at the Children’s Hospital New Orleans-affiliated with Louisiana State University for his Pediatric Orthopedics training. Next, Dr. Patel relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada for …subspecialty/fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction and Hip Arthroscopy.

Dr. Patel is fortunate to have trained under nationally and internationally renowned surgeons that are pioneers in the field of orthopedics from implant designs, incorporating technology such as navigation, robotics, and virtual reality into operating rooms, and developing surgical techniques to help patients recover and rehabilitate efficiently.

Dr. Patel has presented at the national academy and state society meetings. He is currently working with a team of experienced, fellowship trained surgeons and the Institute for Mobility and Longevity to establish orthopedic academics in Southwest Florida that includes Continuing Medical Education (CME), journal club, outcomes driven research, and establishing an Adult Reconstruction Fellowship to train the next generation of orthopedic surgeons providing leading and customizable treatment options to our communities.
