Dr. Madhu L. Henry, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Henry for 4 years. She is a truly caring doctor who spends time with her patients. I have autoimmune condition and she always spent time with me to discuss my condition and ensure the best treatment. At times, the wait is long but that is because she spends quality time with her patients and she is worth the wait.

As a former teacher, it is very easy to see that some of the one star reviews below are written by the same individual because the voice and style of writing is similar. If you have an issue, write one review. It is unfair to purposely drive down a doctor's ratings by submitting one star over and over again. Dr. Henry is an excellent doctor. She has taken a lot of time to listen to my concerns and is always looking for alternatives if one approach is not working. Yes, the wait is sometimes longer than expected, but it is because she is a caring doctor who really listens instead of furiously typing up notes on the charting system while she sees you. I have always had a pleasant experience with the front office and have never had billing CV issues. I would not go to anyone else.

i told you that you my medical problems are making me suicidal and you didn't so much as pick up the phone or have a nurse pick up the phone. everywhere i go, they say, go to your pcp. you are my pcp and you keep dropping the ball almost every time. i have to beg and beg for you to simply call in meds. i have to beg and beg for you to fix errors in billing, labwork and you NEVER do it when they are your errors to begin with. you left me sobbing, half naked in a room to go treat another patient who waited one hour to see you and got angry, when i waited 1.5 hours to see you and am to sick to get angry. you treat me like literal trash. you billed me $400 for that day and i wish i could treat someone like you do and sleep that soundly at night. i hope, in ur darkest time, that you are given the same empathy, courtesy and understanding that you have shown me.

Dr. Henry...you really rush through appointments and then bill several hundred dollars. I don't appreciate this at all. I can understand the ridiculously long wait time, if you actually then spend the next 15-20 minutes concentrated on my problems. Instead, somebody is always just knocking on the door and then barging in. You seem distracted. You do not listen to what I want to do. Or understand my fears and concerns. It is my body and my money at the end of the day. You keep making random errors, forgetting to call in meds, not adding hba1c to my bloodwork to be checked, making billing mistakes, not ordering a test we discussed. THen I call and call your office, which is ridiculously annoying, to get an answer. I feel like you really don't give a hoot about all the time I put in, how I am sick on top of everything, have my own responsibilities, and ultimately am paying you for a service. I should feel totally heard and appreciated. I am very disappointed. It's like I have to make a… hundred appointments for things that if you honestly just focused and paid attention to me during my appointment we could get everything done. When I am battling health issues, I shouldn't have to deal with this on top of them, right??

dr. henry...i am not comfortable having a male scribe in the room. it is very personal matters i want to talk about. and i am not comfortable with this. the staff also told me that he is your son and that gives me more discomfort because i do not want to be a dinner topic even anonymous. so, please do not force a scribe on to anyone. in other doc offices, the doc always asks permission before anyone enters. also, please be thoughtful that i am putting in time and money also. i work very hard for my money for my family just like you.

The best MD who knows about holistic health. You are my doctor for life.
