Dr. Madhuri Bewtra, MD

I adore her’! She spends time with me and doesn’t rush through my annual exam. My 25 year old daughter is also her patient.

Dr. Bewtra is professional and very helpful. She is thorough and makes conversation easy. Highly recommend

Just be careful. She is nice and smiley but she is not professional enough. Did a huge mistake with me that costs me a lot. The only reason I wrote is to help other woman and save them from a huge pain.

I had the worse experience ever with Dr Beltran. Beware and do not go near this doctor. She induced me when I came in in labor and ended up giving me a c section after I did not progress as fast as she wanted me too. I assume she wanted to end her shift. She never told me why I need one and the nurse was even surprised when she heard Dr. Betwra wanted to preform a c section. She was so uncaring and I felt she did not care one bit about me or my baby. I did not have good vibes about her from the second I met her. I loved seeing all the other doctors in the practice.

When I arrived at the hospital 2 years ago in active labor, Dr. Bewtra met me there and explained the birthing process to me. She said that she would break my water and induce me to make the process go faster. I was a first time mom at that point so I just went along with what she said. In retrospect, I see that induction was not medically necessary since I was 11 days EARLY and was progressing steadily and naturally when I got to the hospital. I do not appreciate the fact that Dr. Bewtra didn't give me a choice in this matter. She just explained it like it was part of the process. I connected the dots afterward and think that the reason why she did this is because she would've been on shift several hours later which means that if I didn't progress in my labor fast, she would've had to deliver my baby. Secondly, I went in for a monthly check up recently for my second child and she was the only one available and throughout the appointment, she made me feel rushed and answered me in a… condescending way when I misinterpreted something she said. Other doctors here are great but Dr. Bewtra gives me bad vibes.

Everything a doctor should be and then just kind and understanding besides.

She delivered my son. Absolutely fantastic experience. I ended up needing a c-section. It was quick, next day I got up and walked around the room. I took no painkillers. Was released 3 days later. On 4th day stopped taking Tylenol for pain because I could do without it.

Why does a professional and respected OBGYN like dr Friedman keep dr bewtra around- she tarnishes the practice- including myself I know of several other patients who left the practice specifically because of her; she is rude condescending and hardly an eminent figure in her field to warrant such an awful bedside manner; very disturbing

It was a huge concern for me when I asked Dr. Bewtra whether it was a good idea as a pregnant RN to care for patients on droplet precautions and this lady didn't know what droplet precaution was. That was a red flag to me. Also, this Dr. Wasn't professional at all in my opinion. She wasn't informative or educational. Even when she was doing ultrasound she wasn't even explaining things to me. She just didn't seem to care. I read not so good reviews about her but still proceeded to have her as my OBGYN but I witnessed those bad reviews. The staff were ok. The phlebotomist there not too sure about her. They need someone else.

The attitude of the office is after tests are performed NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS ...... THEY SIMPLY FIND NO NEED TO FOLLOW UP WITH PATIENT IN ANY MANNER.
