Dr. Rodriguez used to be my doctor and I have many great things to say about her. Doctor Rodriguez is very professional and full of knowledge, she always took the time to explain things to me and answer all my questions. She did this all patiently and always got excited and happy every time I was making progress with my OCD. She always had a smile on her face and made me feel comfortable when opening up to her. She treated me with empathy and she is non judgmental. She made my therapy process go as smooth as possible, I will always thank God for her.

Magda Rodriguez, Psy.D. is a knowledgeable and talented provider who keeps the patient's clinical needs first. She is committed to carefully listening to her patients and helping them meet their goals. Over the past few years, I have consulted closely with Dr. Rodriguez and experience her to be compassionate, nonjudgmental, and skillful in treating the most complicated mental health problems. She prioritizes attending the highest level trainings and is passionate about providing quality care that is supported by research. Dr. Rodriguez knows and provides mental health care that works. She is an expert in the treatment of Personality Disorders, PTSD, and other complex problems.

Please stay away from this psychologist. She is extensively trained, but by no means does this mean she is a caring or empathetic therapist. Dr. Rodriguez treated me in an unkind manner for the majority of the time I was under her "care". She was consistently impatient, rigid, and, quite frankly, mean in her approach. She referred to this behavior as evidence of her being "real" and "genuine" as an attempt to justify her inability to keep her client's best interests in mind. She does not maintain a basic level of professionalism in her demeanor and is unpredictable in her reactions. The way I was treated was not even remotely acceptable. I wish I had realized this sooner instead of allowing her to convince me that she was the only person who could help me.
