My first visit to the office was great! The staff, especially one lady (I wish I remembered her name), was incredibly sweet and attentive. Dr. Paya was equally wonderful, he’s very outgoing, which helped ease my nerves right away. Doctors can sometimes feel intimidating, but his warm and welcoming demeanor made me feel completely at ease. He’s highly knowledgeable, and it’s clear that he genuinely cares about his patients and loves what he does. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Paya to anyone starting their weight loss journey. It can be hard, nerve-wracking, and even a little embarrassing to seek help when you just want to lose weight, but neither Dr. Paya nor the staff at the West Hills office ever made me feel that way. Instead, they made me feel like I was making the right choice, and Dr. Paya, in particular, made me feel comfortable and supported throughout the process. If you’re nervous about getting started, this is definitely the place to go, they really care, and it shows.

The office secretary/receptionist services should be more patient friendly with better communication skills.

Dr Paya can put you at ease. He is attentive and knowledgeable. He will explain your options for weight loss. I highly recommend him.

I have been going to Dr. Paya for close to 18 years. He is The best in his field absolutely an amazing surgeon I would go to no one else but him. And his office staff are wonderful so helpful and knowledgeable I cannot recommend Dr. Paya and his office staff enough! I have referred several friends and coworkers there and not one had anything negative to say about the care they received only positive feedback and all of them have been so thankful that they went to Dr. Paya.

Soooo many things wrong with this place. 1. Scheduled my New Patient consultation on their website. Got my confirmation email. Got there and the office was closed. Called their office and they didn't even have any of my information even though I made the appt online. 2. Doctor spoke to me over the phone after I sounded irate with the staff about my appointment. I took the afternoon off to meet with him and I couldn't even have a proper consultation with him. He talked to me on the phone, while I was in my car, and he had ZERO information on me. 3. He was surprised that facey referred me to his office and didn't seem like he wanted to proceed with me as a patient if I had facey. Avoid this doc ay all cost if you have Facey! The nutritionist and psych eval won't be covered (that is not something they mention). Please please please! Go to Dr. Quilici in Burbank for Bariatric surgery. His staff is excellent. The nutritionist is amazing! The Psychologist is so sweet. They are very… proactive and have very frequent support groups for pre/post bariatric patients. Take care
