Dr. Maher Mark Awar, MD

I recently discovered someone at this practice is working fraudulently under my name. I live and work in Denver, I hadn't gotten my tax refund and upon further digging as to why I logged on to my IRS profile and noticed a weird W2 from 2024 linked to young hearts in Yuma AZ claiming to have earned 82K under my name and social. This is such a violating feeling and to feel no one is doing anything about it is even worse. I have spoken with the office manager Olivia Williams and have not heard back from her after she stated she is going to speak with the accounting department, I am planning on reaching out to Dr Awar himself and see if I can get to the bottom of this, point being is this is clearly a shady practice!

This doctor's reputation is by far the best in town. When I first moved here I asked around and this is the doctor that everyone recommended. He is very knowledgable and compassionate. I'm surprised at the negative comments because I know a few people that see Dr Awar and we all agree that he's the best. Some people are unhappy no matter how you treat them. See this doctor with confidence that you will be treated as a person not as a disease.

Dr. Awar treats my mother for her cardiac conditions, but cares for my mother as a person, not just a group of symptoms. He talks with her, not just to her. He looks her in the eye and pays attention to not just what she says, but how she responds. He treats her as if she matters to him; I can't believe he could treat his own mother or grandmother better. I am so grateful to Dr. Awar for his care - he does whatever he can to help my mother live a better life, and she looks forward to her visits with him. Though he is not my doctor (I accompany my parents to their appointments), he touches my heart with the way he cares for my mother. I trust him emphatically, appreciate his expertise, and enjoy our interactions.

This doctor has done more for my condition in one month than anyone else in a dozen years. I first saw him on Nov 1, 2010. He has since done several thorough tests and has had his staff set me up with further appointments for treatment options with Scripps. He has been extremely personable and professional and "up front", working rapidly with even open communication by phone from the doctor personally!

I HAD A HEART PROBLEM FOR 14 YEARS OTHER DOCTORS NEVER SAID WHAT IT WAS OR CORRECTED IT THEY JUST KEPT ME ON MEDICATION-WHICH DID NOT STOP THE PROBLEM. DR AWAR GAVE ME A CORRECT DIAGNOSIS AND REFERRED ME TO A DOCTOR WHO DID AN ABLATION AND STOPPED THE PROBLEM. IT HAS BEEN A OVER A YEAR AND I HAVE NOT HAD ANY ATTACKS.
