Dr. Noel Villanueva Gutierrez, MD

Went in for EKG as needed it for surgery on knee. EKG and blood pressure was good. But said I need a Echo and stress test as it had been 6 years since had one. This would take 4 days . My surgery doctor needs to have these results before setting up surgery. But this doctor said he wanted these done first before signing papers. I tried to call Dr. Gutierrez friday morning and they said would call back that afternoon ( they never called) . I do not want these test and only needed EKG as was ordered. I want to cancel these appointments as they are causing me stress.

Dr. Gutierrez is very professional and compassionate.He takes time to fully examine me and answer all my questions. My friends and family members have been going to him for years. We are lucky to have doctor like him here in Yuma.

as a nurse and NP I was appalled at the time or lack of that Dr. G spent with me --less than 5 minutes--He did not listen to any of the info that I presented him (CT scan from UofA-- seemed uninterested even tho it has a direct bearing on my heart/arteries and left me with an impression that I was bothering him--he refused to answer any of my questions and cut me off.

Dr Gutierrez was very professional and caring when I needed a Pacemaker and he made things happen very fast. However, his office and medical staff are very cold and unresponsive. I have found them to be very unpleasant to work with, they are rude and sullen. The fact that the Dr. is so good, I work around this annoyance from his staff.
