Dr. Mahesh S Ochaney, MD

What a kind and caring and thorough physician! He is beyond what I expected in every way. As a former nurse I wish to highly recommend both him and his office for excellent care. He is patient and listens and remembers your discussions and asks pertinent questions. He is respectful and intuitive. I feel blessed to be his patient as does my husband.

Dr. Ochaney listens, monitors, and advises in a professional and caring manner. I switched to Dr. Ochaney after having major medical issues and my prior doctor was simply too busy to advise me properly. She was in a large reputable practice but was always late and rushed. A friend recommended Dr. Ochaney, and I’m so glad I’ve switched. He’s actually monitoring my health issues on a regular basis and encouraging me to make lifestyle changes, so my health does not deteriorate in my senior years. Best of all, he actively listens and then advises using terminology that I understand. I highly recommend Dr. Ochaney.

The couple of times I saw him I was desperate for some care and attention. Each time I literally left in tears do to his total and complete lack of compassion, shrugged off my valid questions. Cold demeanor and talked down to me. Kept repeating himself even after i told him i understoood multiple times. Both times I came in looking for referals to specialists he was unable to provide and literally told me to go on Google and look at docs ratings myself. He told me my case was too complex and he did not want to spend the extra time to review. Basically I got the impression he did not care about me or care to help me. I don't usually give bad reviews I just wanted to add my bad experience because of all the other reviews that paint him in a different light.

Dr. Ochaney is an extremely experienced and compassionate physician. He is competent and always has the management of your healthcare as a priority. He remembers you from visit to visit and is more aware of what you need than you do. He is a great doctor to work with when trying to get your health care under control. You are important to him and it shows by the amount of time he spends with you on each visit. He explains everything and looks ahead to make a plan made especially for you. I'd say he is a 5 Star Physician!

Dr. Ochaney is a caring Phy. and person I highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their health.

Dr Ochaney is a caring doctor he listen to what you say about what going on with you in your body. And then he fully addresses it.

Dr. Ochaney has been my PCP for serval years now. My last PCP retired after seeing him for 15 years. Dr. Ochaney was highly recommended by my last doctor. I have never liked to make a changes to my PCP, especially after 15 years. I’m very pleased with Dr. Ochaney. I’m glad that I choose him as my new PCP. Dr. Ochaney is extremely knowledgeable in the medical field. He takes the time needed to listen to my health concerns, asks questions and provides excellent medical advice. I feel comfortable talking with Dr. Ochaney and have no doubts of his diagnosis when he treats me. Dr. Ochaney cares and has an excellent bed side manner His office staff is outstanding as well. Dr. Ochanny’s nurse is wonderful and always makes me feel comfortable and understands my health concerns too. His administrative assistance is readily available to answer the phone. I’m not put on hold when I call Dr. Ochaney’s office, unlike other doctors’ offices. His administrative assistance works with me on scheduling… appointments in the timeframe I need. As well as handling my prescriptions refills in a timely manner. I recommended Dr. Ochaney to my husband and several other family members. My family members are completely happy with him too. I highly recommend Dr. Ochaney to anyone!!!

Dr. Mahesh Ochaney is by far one of the best physicians I’ve been to in a very long time. I have recently left my primary doctor for a few reasons. The staff was incompetent and never did what they said they would do. They would lie about sending in refills and didn’t give the doctor the information I asked to be given to him. They were rude and really a waste of space There was a huge turnover rate with the staff and even the new employees were not better than the last. I have switched to Dr. Ochaney recently and I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to have someone who actually cares about me and looks at all aspects of my Healthcare. He is thorough and the most competent and knowledgeable doctor I have ever been to. As a nurse I have seen a lot of doctors and worked with more than I can count. Dr. Ochaney is top notch and there aren’t enough words to describe how wonderful he really is. He knows ahead of time when I am due for labs or tests to be performed. I even had my husband… recently switch to Dr. Ochaney and he too is very impressed with his professionalism and competence. It is wonderful to know that someone will be there if and when I need them. As for his office staff, they are a refreshing change from what I have been use to. They are kind, competent and efficient in every way. The waiting room is never full and only once was I in the waiting room with one other person. I never wait longer than 5 minutes to be seen. They are incredibly efficient and I am happy I made the decision to change to Dr. Ochaney. I pay extra because he is not under my insurance plan but believe me he is worth every penny.

Dr. Ochaney is very attentive about his craft and he spends time to explain your condition and how to live a healthy life. After five years I am in great health now.
